Part 10 ~ Twins?

Berjhawn's POV

Berjhawn smiles as she looks up into Dean's speechless expression. He looks over at Sam with an expression that screams 'Shifter' but Sam shakes his head. "Dean, this is my friend from college; Berjhawn." Berjhawn stands up and smiles at him. "It's a pleasure to meet you Dean. I've heard a lot about you from Sam." 

"Sam, you have ten seconds to tell me what's going on." Sam rolls his eyes as his brother starts to get pissed. "Let me Sam," Berjhawn says as she looks into Dean's green eyes, "Cressida; or Chris as you know her is my twin sister. We were separated at birth and now I am just looking for her, and please I already know about what you and Sammy do for a living."

Dean looks taken aback as he says, "How do you know?" he looks at Sam then back at Berjhawn, "Did you tell her the family secret?" Berjhawn lets out a chuckle as she says, "Dean I know because I'm a hunter too; and before you ask I already know about Michael being my father and my angel bloodline." Dean nods and then says inches away from my face, "If you're really Chris's sister how come Cass hasn't said anything about you?" 

Berjhawn rolls her eyes and says as she sits back down, "Dear sweet uncle Castiel doesn't know I'm alive and to tell you the truth neither does my father. They all believe I was killed by Demons when I was a child but someone saved me. I'm pretty sure you'd know who. After all he was your father." Dean freezes causing Berjhawn to smile. 

"Why didn't you tell me about this before?" Sam says as he breaks the silence. 

"Sam there are a lot of things I haven't told you simply for the fact I don't like living in the past cause if I did I'm pretty sure your brother would be dead." Dean snaps back to attention as he says, "What?" She rolls her eyes as she takes a drink of her gin and sprite as she says, "I hold you responsible for what happened to my adopted mom and sister."

 "What the hell are you talking about?" Berjhawn jumps up and letting her temper get the best of her says, "Ellen and Joe; Dean! Those names ring a bell? They were the only family I ever had and because of you they are dead!" Dean takes a step back clueless as to what to say. "Berjhawn calm down it wasn't Dean's fault they knew what they were getting into."

She looks over at Sam with rage in her icy eyes. "Sam stay out of this." She looks back at Dean and says, "The only reason you are still standing is because I have forgiven you, only because Joe told me too; but I am warning you, if something happens to Cressida because of you I will kill you myself no hesitation." Dean nods as he looks down at his hands. "Now that we've gotten that out of the way can we please sit back down and talk about the hunt."

Dean clears his throat as he says, "Gladly." 

"So Berjhawn, as you were saying what is it we're hunting?" She downs the rest of her gin and Sprite and orders another. "It's not just one thing it's a colossal fuck hole." Dean looked at Berjhawn with a surprised look on his face, "What do you mean by that?" 

"Look I think something's about to happen, it may have something to do with Cressida since she's the powerful one of the two; but Werewolves, Vampires, Demons, Angels, and I believe a couple shifters are here in grove right now and why they haven't started anything is beyond me. It's like they have orders not to and the only one powerful enough to do that is..." 

"Lucifer," Dean and Sam say in unison. 

"Bingo boys." Berjhawn takes a drink and sighs.

"But what does Lucifer want in a little puissant town such as Grove?" 

Berjhawn rolls her eyes, "Really you didn't do your research?" she looked back and forth between the brothers and sighed, "The story is Grand Lake is a manmade lake, therefore all the surrounding towns used to be there until they decided to flood it and make a lake. I'm pretty sure there is something down there he wants, why else would they flood all those towns and put the lake there?" She looks over at Sam to see him focusing on her words. 

"It does seem a little suspicious. I'll call Bobby and have him check it out, you two try not to kill each other till I get back." 

"I make no promises." She says as Sam walks outside the bar. "Dean sit." Berjhawn says as she uses her Angelic powers to force him to sit. "I promise I won't bite, at least not too hard." Dean rolls his eyes as he orders a beer. "Look Dean, I know you're worried about what I'm gonna do and of course you're worried about Sam, but trust me I'm only here to help and to meet my sister. After that I'm gone and you won't hear from me again." 

"I don't trust just anyone; you want my trust you have to earn it first." Dean says with anger in his eyes.

 "Sam trusts me." 

Dean rolls his eyes, "Sam doesn't have a good history with trusting people that don't turn around and screw him over." He eyes her up and down as he says, "So until I see otherwise I don't trust you." Berjhawn nods as she says, "Fair enough. I'll try my best." Dean nods, "Ok first off you have to meet Cass." She stares at him with a confused look on her face. "Why do I have to do that?" Dean looks at her through narrow eyes which makes her reply, "Fine, bring him on."

He stands and walks over to the bar leaving Berjhawn sitting by herself. 'You're not supposed to tell them his plan.' She hears Kail say into her head and she rolls her eyes as she replies, 'Shut up, or you'll get me caught.' Berjhawn stands and walks out the bar and over to an irritated Sam. "Just call me when you find something out." He closes the phone and turns to see her staring at him. 

"You okay?" She says as he walks over to her. 

"Bobby's gonna look into it, are you sure there isn't anything else that pops into your mind that would make Lucifer come here?" 

She looks down at the ground, "Besides you, nothing else comes to mind." She sees the fear and hatred in his eyes and she says, "Look Sammy, I wish things were different but these are the cards we are dealt. Ya know what I mean? I wish I could be normal and grow up and have kids and a normal life but that will never happen. I will always be hunted for what I am. I just want to at least let Chris know that I'm alive and she's not alone and then I'm gonna disappear," She looks off into the distance as she says, "Again."

She looks back at him to see the look of regret in his eyes and she smiles, "Sam after all this is over I know you're gonna be okay. You won't let Lucifer or my father win. So don't worry about me." Sam is about to say something when Dean walks out of the bar and stares at the two of them. "Did I miss something?" Berjhawn shakes her head as she walks over to her 71 GTO and is about to climb into the driver's seat when she hears Dean say, "Is that yours?"

 She smiles and nods, "This is my baby, rebuilt her myself. Poor old guy that had her was just letting her rot in the back yard. But one day I made him a offer and voila." She motions to the purple car and smiles. "Nice, you just went up a little in my book." She looks over at Sam and he walks over to Berjhawn's car and smiles at Dean as he climbs in.

"Dude, what about baby?"

"No offense Dean but I think it might be best to go for a low profile view while we're here since Lucifer is close by." Dean looks at his 67 impala then looks at Berjhawn and sticks out his boo boo lip and Sam starts to laugh. "You really think that's gonna work with me?" She says as she stares back at him. He continues to give her the face until she says, "Fine, geez can't take you anywhere." Dean smiles as he walks over to baby and climbs in. 

Berjhawn looks at Sam and says as he laughs, "I don't know why you're laughing, I call shotgun." Then she closes her car door and locks it before Sam is able to make it to the passenger side door. He looks down at her and gives her the boo boo lip and she smiles and says, "That might work if your brother didn't just use it. Sorry!" She smiles as she climbs into the passenger's' door and sits down. She looks over at Dean and smiles. "Let's do this." Dean says as he puts on AC DC and pulls out of the bar parking lot and heads toward Grove.
