Sitting in my last class of the day I turn around to my best friend Sydnie and see her talking to two of our best guy friends, Axle and Rayce. The two are cousins so they look a lot alike.

"Belle what are you doing this weekend?" Sydnie asks.

"I don't know yet. It all depends on if I get the interview at Jaba's." I tell her.

Jaba's is a local café that the four of us go to every day afterschool and since I applied for a job they're all hoping I get the job so I can get them free coffees and food.

"Ok well if you don't have it that afternoon I'm taking you shopping with me. My mom is letting me have the car for the whole weekend so I'm going to the mall in the city." She says, her eyes filling with excitement.

"Syd you know I don't like shopping in big malls." I say giving her a look.

"Axle and I are coming too if that helps any. But anyways are we all still going to Jaba's today?" Rayce asks us all.

"Yep!" I tell him. "As soon as this class ends we can head there!"

"Don't you have to get your brother from his practice though?" Sydnie says.

"I don't have to get Arrow till 4:30 so that gives us enough time to go to Jaba's." I tell her and right when I'm done the bell rings signaling the end of our English class. "Are we carpooling there or no?"

"I drove today so we can use my car." Axle says after being quiet the whole period.

"Okay. Then lets get going!" Sydnie says jumping out of her desk.

"Well you guys can all ride in Axle's car but I have to drive mine so I won't have to come back here to get my car before picking up Arrow." I say reminding her as we walk out to our cars.

"Oh yeah." She says laughing. "I forgot about that."

As I'm getting into my car my phone starts ringing and I quickly answer it.

"Hello?"

"Hi. Yes is this Arabelle King?" A person asks.

"Yes. Can I help you?" I answer in return.

"This is Meghan Jackson. I'm the manager of Jaba's. I was calling to see if you could come in here for your interview sometime this afternoon?" She asks.

"Yeah. Of course. I'll be there soon depending on traffic. Thank you." I say hanging up.

Hearing a car drive beside me I turn to see it's only Axle's truck. Leaning out of the window is Rayce.

"LET'S GET GOOOOOOIIIIIIIINGGGG." He hollers. Laughing, I wave them to pull up so I can tell them about my interview. After explaining the situation to them Sydnie squeals loudly and both of the boys high five me. "

"Get your ass there then Belle!" Rayce says, pushing me into my car since the door is still open.

"I'm going, I'm going." I say, climbing into my car while laughing.

Starting up my baby, a beautiful white Jeep, I pull out of the parking lot and make my way to the part of town where Jaba's is. Jaba's is towards the outside of town but yet still in town to the point you could walk there if you wanted to. It's a small two story building that looks like something you'd see in a movie or something. The inside is just are unique as the outside though. Having two floors didn't stop the owners from making it into the perfect little café. The first floor has tables and booths on one half and the other half has bean bags and couches. The second floor has a few more tables and some book shelves and the middle is missing so you can pretty much look down and see the first floor. It's honestly a really good place to hang out on days when you have nothing to do.
