SOTC: Habits of my Heart (Bentz Remix)

Waking up with a hangover sucked. Annie had really underestimated the power of her drinks last night, too caught up in twins, fireflies, and death threats. Even better, today was her first day back at Beacon Hills High. Her good ol' Alma Mater that held far too many memories to even be described as memorable... the memories she had there were just tragic.

Rolling over, she squinted her eyes as she felt something uneven beneath her in bed. Looking back, she was met with Stiles's drooling face as he snored. Gritting her teeth, Annie slowly raised up her comforter and sighed in relief when she saw they both had their clothes on.

After a minute more of deep snoring, Annie couldn't take it and picked up her pillow, slapping Stiles hard in the face with it. He shot up, shouting something incoherent, as he flopped around until he met Annie's amused face.

"That was a mistake," he gestured to his violent movements from before and clasped his hand over his mouth, his face turning green. Clearly, he underestimated the power of his drinks, too, as he got sick in Annie's bathroom.

Reaching over into her nightstand, Annie pulled open the drawer and sighed in relief when she found her bottle of Aspirin still inside. Dumping three into her hand, she swallowed the pills dry and then shook the bottle at Stiles's heaving body.

"Aspirin is on the nightstand!" she called, standing up and rubbing her temples. She was hesitant to open her door and see the chaos that would be outside, but was shocked to see her house spotless and empty of any leftover people/garbage from the night before.

Stumbling her way down her stairs, she walked into her kitchen and found the small note Scott had left after he cleaned up Annie's party and escorted everyone home.

Your garbage can is full. Thank me later. See you at school :p
– Scott

Annie smiled before checking the small digital clock displayed on her microwave. It was currently 7:20 and school was in an hour. For once in her life, Annie praised her inability to sleep in, because now she had the perfect amount of time to recover and make it to school.

She wondered if people would stare, ask where she went, or even question about her and Jackson's relationship. She couldn't help but feel guilty for liking the kiss last night with Aiden, it felt like she had somehow betrayed a silent pact between Jackson and her.

God, she missed him.

Suddenly, Annie realized she had broken a silent pact. Not with Jackson, but with her pack. What kind of friend was she? Kissing the enemy and enjoying it... disgusting.

She cursed at herself a bit more before preparing two bowls of stale Captain Crunch and clumsily spilling some of the milk on her way up the stairs. When she finally made it to her room, she found Stiles with his head in his hands, his hair pushed in wild directions. Annie stepped forward and the wood beneath her creaked, making Stiles snap his head up and ask, "Is that what I think it is..." he trailed, eyeing the bowls.

Annie raised a skeptical eyebrow, "Captain Crunch?"

"Fuck yes," he mumbled, rushing to meet her and taking a giant gulp of almost sour milk. "What time is it?" he asked with a full mouth.

Annie shrugged, taking a bite of cereal herself, "I don't know... like 7:30," she trailed, setting her bowl and walking to her closet. She pulled out the a pair of skinny jeans and a flowy top she had left behind. Nodding, she grabbed her favorite pair of maroon sneakers and escorted herself to get dressed in the bathroom, while Stiles got more cereal.
