Our daughter Hope is turning one tomorrow. It's been a hell of a ride to this point. Melissa and I haven't gotten married yet, but in little over a month, we will finally say I do. She's been good, still trying to adjust to a normal life, not the crazy hectic family she had. It was hard on her when Bray died, but she realized that he had died a long time ago. I've loved having her and our little girl in our lives. They make everyday worth getting up. Don't worry the Shield is still as strong as ever now that we've combined forces with the girls. Melissa and I are on top of the world in that area right now. She won the women's title at Summerslam, 3 months ago, and I won the title at Survivor Series last night. Right now, her and our little girl are sleeping beside me, they are the two most beautiful women I have ever seen. Don't worry she still sasses the hell out of me everyday. But I wouldn't have it any other way.
Dean and Seth you ask? They still being stupid, fighting a lot over who's kid looks better, we all know it's mine. Amy and Courtnee have really toned the two of them down though. "Roman," Melissa said, "Quit staring or I'll rip out your eyes."
"You wouldn't cuz you love them."
"Oh that's right it's your hands I'd rip off."
"You wouldn't rip those off because of this," I said sliding my hand between her thighs.
"In front of our daughter, seriously? God, you are still such a horny man."
"You wouldn't have it any other way."
"I hate it when you're right."
I leaned down and pressed my lips to hers, hearing a squeal from Hope. "Oh look who finally decided to get up you sleepyheads." Called Dean from the doorway. "Dammit," I said, "we gotta remember to lock our doors babygirls."
"Who let the lunatic in?" Melissa said.
"My little ponys isn't on yet Seth," called Amy.
"Seriously I can't handle you people," Melissa said laughing.
"Dean," Courtnee called, "Strawberry Shortcake is on."
As we got dressed, having a few make out sessions in the process, we finally made it downstairs. The girls took the kids into the kitchen for breakfast as Dean, Seth, and I sat down on the couch. "So Hope is gonna be one tomorrow," Seth said. "How's Melissa taking that?"
"She's so happy to have that little girl, and finally be free from all that pain and everything."
"Good," Dean said, " she's been nothing but a great person ever since we met her, nothing like that fucking idiot of a brother."
"I'm just glad he's gone and out of our lives. I feel as if we can finally be happy. Plus there is a little more to be happy about for us."
"What's that Roman?" Seth asked.
We heard the girls squealing, so I knew Melissa told them.
"We're pregnant."
"Dude, congratulations," Seth said.
"Bro, that's awesome," Dean commented.
"Even though she just won the title and all, I know she's not as concerned with having to give that up, because it means she gets to have more time with our kids."
"I bet, she really seems to love being a mom."
"I think it's because hers was gone before she had a chance to know her."
The girls came out, still squealing, Hope sleeping on Melissas shoulder. Courtnee and Amy carried their sons, James and Shawn. They sat down with us, Melissa on my lap. I pulled them closer to me, holding my girls tight.
