Louis is setting everything up for his looming rut when he gets a message. A message from his father telling him to come to their main house. He knows he is in for it. His father, step-father really, was unaware of his plans of divorcing Zayn. That's the exact reason why he didn't tell him. He would flip out. And his father, as an alpha himself, should know more than anyone that not having an omega to mate is horrid and it doesn't work out.

He is also ashamed of his son for not picking the right person to marry and for marrying too soon. He didn't even know his son had a boyfriend. Then the next moment, he's walking his eighteen year old ass into his parents room with some beta from the pack next door and telling them he doesn't only have a boyfriend, but a husband. Granted,  both Louis and Zayn did some stupid shit back them, dating for two months before getting married without telling either of their parents they were even in a relationship was just the beginning of their long list of mistakes.

Their statuses were the next mistake. Louis is an alpha, not to mention the packs heir to the "throne of power". He needed an omega. He can't bond on a beta. He can't go through a rut with a beta. He can't even make love to a beta safely. He has to wear a condom unless the beta will get very sick very quickly. He has to go slow or else the beta will get hurt/rip/all sorts of other shit will happen. An alpha can't do shit with a beta. And a beta can't do shit with an alpha. They have to always be careful. Alpha's have that constant need to control. And Alpha voices have no control over betas. That just leads to a lot of fighting and hating and yelling and more Alpha Voice and more no response.

So basically their entire marriage was a stupid, teenager-like mistake.

So Louis put down his omega scented candle (dont even ask) and trudged out of his house. Their pack was set up like an estate. There was Louis' house, which he would spend with Zayn. It was the second largest home on the estate, since he would become the pack alpha when his step-father died. The rest were normal sized homes, ranch styled homes, for all the members. Each family got one. The largest home by far, the mansion, really, was belonging to Louis' step-father, the pack alpha, Mark, and his mother, the pack omega, Johanna. They lived in the lowest floor of the house, that was where they lived and no one else. Then there was the second floor. This was the nursery for newborn pups. The third floor was the floor for pregnant omegas to stay with their alphas in a single room and stay close with him/her all the time. Since, if they were pregnant, they were in danger, so they would stay protected and safe in the pack house near the doctor, who resided in the basement in the underground hospital. The fourth floor was for alphas or omegas who were going through their ruts or heats and had beta mates who couldn't help them or their mates were pregnant or nursing and couldn't help their alphas.

Louis trudges across the grassy turf, folding his arms across his chest and pulling his black jacket closer to his body. The air was whipping his hair, running through the silky strands and pushing them around. He heard giggles and looked up just in time to see three little pups running for him, racing.

The biggest one, a boy with jet black hair runs straight up to him yelling, "Alpha Louis! Alpha Louis!"

Louis chuckles and crouches down just in time to be tackled by the strong little eight year old. He stands up, hefting the boy onto his hip. "Jackson! How are you, bud?"

"I'm good. How are you, Alpha?" Jackson replies, pushing the long black hair from his forehead with his slender hand.

"I'm okay. How's your mum?" Louis asks softly, rubbing a hand up and down the small pups back.

"She's fine. Daddy won't leave her alone and I think she is starting to hate him," he says sadly. Louis smiles sadly at the tiny boy.

Louis coos. "I doubt she hates your papa. You know how you get annoyed with Luc sometimes when he is always around you?" Jackson nods. "Well, that's what your mum is feeling. She is just annoyed with your papa. How is he doing?"
