His Darkness
Clink! Clink!
The gold clatters against one another
As it settles against the overflowing treasure
Causing a ripple of noise to slip through
Wild rampant thoughts plaguing the room for silver of a moment
The glittering gold mystifying the eyes
A hard calculating edge being masked behind them
Face marred by wrinkles
And the lips tugged downwards carving a permanent frown
Adding to his aging beauty
A corrupted soul blinded by its thirst
To the vices acted upon for a sense of power
Fingertips graze its lid as they close the chest
Locking the doors to his tainted heart
Owner’s voice echoes through blanket of silence
Discontent dripping in his every word
Not enough ....not enough...
Unknowing that it will never be enough

PoetryA collection of my poems NOTE: These are all my works. Do not even think about stealing them or I'll hunt you down. I am not kidding. It's just all kinds of wrong (ethically, legally) to palagaris someone else's hard work.
