Percabeth, as Nadia said, is a ship that is always portrayed incorrectly, and I don't even date. Ever.
They aren't lovey dovey 24/7. From what I've seen, they tease one another, joke around, and don't just express their feelings loudly.
Percy gets flustered and Annabeth doesn't want to ruin her image.
If they loved each other like they do in some fanfictions (which I really don't understand..) all the time, well, then, Annabeth would be pregnant right now.
And Percy would've spent 74% of his money on condoms. Or not...
