Chapter 10

For two hours, all I heard was Justin crying.

Megan didn't say two words.

Justin would try to talk to me every ten to fifteen minutes, and I would say the same thing every time.

"I don't want to hear what you have to say."

He stopped after a while.

I couldn't stay awake any longer, I needed to sleep.

I closed my eyes, awaiting my next nightmare.

I was sitting there.

Waiting for Chase to come and kill me.

He beat the living shit out of me.

I don't want to live anymore.

He walked in, giving me a devilish grin.

"Hey babe." he said.

"Don't you dare call me babe!" I shouted.

I was shocked I could still shout after the beating I have received.

"Well, somebody's a little bipolar." he said.

"What the hell do you mean?" I asked.

"Well, a minute ago, you were begging me to stop beating you, you sounded so helpless. And now? You sound like you want to kill me!" he said, giggling at the end of the sentence.

"Well, I do." I mumbled.

"I know you do." he said.

My eyes widened, I thought he didn't hear me.

His eyes widened too.

"What?" I asked.

"You don't wanna know." he said.

He looked angry, like he wanted to kill someone.

I guess I was annoying him by giving him m confused look, because he turned around my chair.

I was now facing the window.

I gasped at the sight.

Not a bad gasp though.

I felt a warm feeling in my heart.

It was Megan and Justin holding their new baby.

But, aren't I supposed to be angry and hate the baby?

Hell, I don't care.

Damn, I want to be the godmother now!

Shit, what's wrong with me?

I yelled their names.

They looked at me and smiled.

They walked over to the window and showed me the baby.

Tears of happiness sprung from my eyes.

I mouthed 'name?' to them.

Justin mouthed 'Autumn'.

More tears came falling down.
