Chapter 1: Goodbyes

~Maddi's POV~

I was so excited to see the boys

again. In a few hours I will hanging out with my five best friends, the thought

plastered a smile on my face. I haven't

seen Liam, Harry, Louis, Niall, and

Zayn in months. I've changed a lot

since then and I know they have too.

I felt a lot more comfortable in my

skin now I actually felt beautiful for

first time in my life. I was looking forward for the boys to see the new me.

"Shit!" I shouted as I dropped my suitcase down the stairs. "Babe do you need help?" I heard zack call from the kitchen. "No I got it." I called back. I was going to miss him so much. Thinking about not seeing him for a month brought tears to my eyes.

I heard Zack's footsteps approaching and decided to wipe the tears away from my eyes and put a fake smile on my face."I'm going to miss you so much baby." The sadness in his eyes broke my heart. "I'm going to miss you too." I said choking up. He laid a soft kiss on my forehead.

I loved Zack so much but because of his new football opportunity we haven't seen each other as much. He was the best boyfriend I've bet had, he was sensitive, sweet, funny, charming- the sound of the doorbell interrupted my thoughts.

I opened the door to see the cab Zack called to take me to the airport. He would've driven me but he had a game at the same time. "Just give me a few minutes to gather my things." I said giving the sweet old man a friendly smile. Zack helped me load my bags into the back of the cab.

My eyes locked on his blue irises. Zack was my first boyfriend after me and Harry broke up last year. I hated thinking about my relationship with Harry I mean it was great but he broke my heart. I shook my thoughts away from Harry and focussed on Zack. He was so handsome and he was MINE.

The cab honked hinting it was time to go. Zack grabbed me by the waist and pulled me close to his body. "I love you Maddi." He spoke with such certainty it made my heart flutter. "I love you to baby. Forever and always." Are lips met for the last time until the driver honked again.

"I'm coming!" I called to the driver. Zack chuckled to my reaction. "Bye baby." We hugged once last time before I climbed into the back seat. "You better text and call and Skype me everyday!" He started to tear up which broke my heart even more. "I will! Ill miss you too much!" By this point the cab was pulling out of our driveway. The tears in my eyes started running down my face.

~Zack's POV~

It broke my heart watching her cry over me. Why ME? While she is going to visit her best friends I will be home sleeping around. 'Your a dick' I kept telling myself 'A fucking dick'. I was breaking this poor girls heart. I wanted to tell her before she left but I couldn't find the heart.

To be honest I love her I really do but if she ever found out I will never see her beautiful face again. I helped her after her break up with Harry and now I'm no better than him. It was lie after lie after lie and the worst part was she believed ever single freaking one. She never questioned me never once. And here I am as she drives off calling my other Girlfriend.

~Maddi's POV~

I put my music in for the long drive to the airport where I was going to meet my best friend, Emma. The song 'Little Things' plays loudly in my headphones as my mind begins to drift.

*FLASHBACK*

I knocked on Harry's door but there was no answer so I jut walked in knowing he wouldn't mind. "Babe? Where are you I brought you some food home-" My jaw dropped in disbelief. There Harry, was my boyfriend laying on the couch making out with some slut half naked. "Oh my god. Maddi you have to listen to me babe, please. She just came in and started making out with me I swear I tried to make her stop but she wouldn't. Please Maddi I love you."

The brunette slut shot me a grin. "I fucking hate you Harry Styles. Never come near me or talk to me again."- "Maddi please don't leave me I-" "You what Harry?! You love me?! Bullshit! Ill come get my things tomorrow please don't be here. I don't want to fucking see you ever again! Bye Harry. Fuck you." And that was it. I walked out the door tears stinging my eyes. Harry ran out after me, tears already streaming down his face, but I drove away. I hated him. He broke my heart.

*END OF FLASHBACK*
