Chapter 4: The truth comes out

~Maddi's POV~

"And I'll have the bacon burger with extra bacon." We all laughed at Nialls food order.

"Okay your food will be out soon." The handsome waiter said checking me out and winking at me.

I blushed while giggling.

"Why don't you take a picture it will last longer." Harry said make the waiter whip his head towards Harry's direction.

"Sorry love I didn't realize you had a dick head boyfriend." The waiter said talking to me but not taking his eyes off Harry.

"No he's not my boyfr-" I started to say.

"Yup I'm her boyfriend so why don't you get out of my fucking face."

Harry said his voice getting louder.

I was in shock that this was happening.

"Harry mate c'mon, you know what management would do if they found out about this." Louis said loud enough for only Harry, Niall, the waiter, and I to hear."

"Yeah Harry you wouldn't want to do anything to hasty would you?" The waiter snapped.

Harry stood up quickly with his hands balled up in fists.

"Harry don't please."

I said my voice shaking.

He locked eyes with me. His fists relaxed as he sat back in his chair. His eyes were full of apology as he locked eyes with me again. He looked away from my glance.

I noticed the waiter had left and everyone was staring at me and Harry.

What the hell just happened???

~Harry's POV~

We all walked back to the cars in silence.

"Hey Louis do you mind if Maddi and I take your car to our place, we will meet all of you there." I said locking my eyes with Louis.

"Erm... Sure ill ride with Zayn in his car see you guys at our place." He said making his way to Zayns passenger door.

"Thanks mate we'll see all of you there." I called to their cars pulling out of the restaurant parking lot.

"Ok Maddi are you ready to go?" I said placing my hand on her lower back guiding her to the passenger side of the car. "We'll be home soon-"

"Don't touch me." She said harshly pushing my hand away from her back.

I tried to open the door for her and she snapped at me again.

"Jesus Harry I don't need your help your not my boyfriend!"

Ouch that hurt.

"Fine then." I said letting go of the car door handle making my way to my side of the car.

We drove in silence for a while.

"Harry you can't." She said looking at her side door window.

"Can't what?"

"You can't have feelings for me anymore."

I was shocked was it really that obvious.

"We both are in relationships now and were both very happy as friends why can't it just stay like that." She said with seriousness in her voice.

"Because I'm not happy with Kate I was happy with YOU. We were perfect together, Maddi. You and I both know I would be a better boyfriend than Zack." I said raising my voice a little bit.

"Sure Harry we WERE perfect together, but you broke my heart and now I'm in love with Zack, not you, Zack my boyfriend." She was staring to cry.

"Maddi I'm sorry I can't help how I feel about you."

"Well you better Harry. If you don't I'm leaving and never talking to you again."

Her voice shook as she talked. I was pissed, she knows how I feel about her and she treats me like shit.

"You know I only dated you to get in your pants. I only wanted to fuck you. You think i gave a shit about your feelings? That's all I wanted sex. Sex. Sex. Sex. And you fell for it." I said with such anger in my voice.

"Stop the car Harry." She said with no expression on her face.

"Maddi I'm sorry we are 5 minutes away. Please." I said regretting everything I had just said.

"Stop the fucking car!" She screamed.

I hit the brakes. And she unbuckled her seatbelt and opened her door. Before she closed the door she looked me dead in the eyes and said.

"You know what Harry, I came here hoping I would find that I still had feelings for you and for a second I thought I did, but now I don't even think we should be friends at all."

Then she started crying, not crying, sobbing. And all because of me. She took out her phone and called Niall to come get her.

When he arrived I sped off. Tears stung at my eyes as I saw Niall hugging her small shaking body.

Way to go Harry, way to go.
