~Harry's POV~
"Maddi can I talk to you outside for a second." I said clearing my throat.
"Uh sure." She said following me to the door to the patio.
We stood in silence for a while until Maddi spoke up.
"Let's just pretend like it never happened Harry, lets just forget about the pregnancy and miscarriage okay please." She said staring at her hands.
"We can't just forget about it." I said tears stinging my eyes.
"Why not Harry? There's nothing we can do now." She spoke calmly as if she's thought out what she was going to say.
"Why wouldn't you tell me?" I said wiping a tear falling from my cheek.
"I just couldn't Harry, okay I couldn't. I didn't even tell my god damn best friend. We broke up I didn't want to worry you." Tears were starting to fill up her eyes as well.
"I still don't even know how this happened." I said realizing how stupid I sounded after the words came out of my mouth.
"Does Zack know?" I asked.
"What am I supposed to say, 'sorry I was pregnant with my ex-boyfriends baby when we started dating but I had a miscarriage so don't worry about it'." She said sarcastically.
"He'll understand." I said.
There was another long silence.
"Harry I'm so sorry." She said starting to cry making a few more tears fall down my face as well.
I wrapped my arms around her kissing her forehead.
"There's nothing to be sorry about love." I said trying to smile. We hugged for what seemed like hours. I missed having her in my arms.
"Maddi I lov-"
Shit, we were interrupted by her phone ringing from her pocket.
"It's Zack." She said looking at her phone scared to death.
"I'll be inside, you'll be fine." I said trying to comfort her.
I walked in the door from the patio to see Kate still sitting on the couch.
"How'd it go?" She asked.
"I don't really know." I said laughing while taking a seat beside her.
Maddi swung the door open from the patio while making her way inside.
She looked furious. Tears were pouring down her face.
