Narcissa's PoV

The rain was trickling down my skylight. I loved the sound it made. But it was too loud so I made it stop and start again. You see I am an elementalist and that means that I can control the elements. You know water, fire, Earth and air. I am currently very bored and waiting for my Hogwarts acceptance letter. I cannot wait to get to see Teddy all year round. Right now I am cursing the state of my room at Grimmauld Place, it is a wreck. I feel like I should be doing something but what? I hear James teasing Albus about not going to Hogwarts but Albus teasing him back about not going as well. I am so proud of my baby brother.
I daze off thinking is the fun I will have at Hogwarts I have heard all about my parents and families adventures. I just wish I had had an opportunity to talk to Uncle Fred about his pranks but he died on May 2 1998 in the Battle of Hogwarts but according to Teddy, Remus, Tonks and Fred are all ghosts at Hogwarts. It it is coming up to July 31. Dads birthday. On his birthday we go and visit cousin Dudley and his wife Cho. I think dad doesn't like visiting cousin Dudley that much but I love hanging out with his son Cedric, he is so much fun to play with and for some reason Cho seems to love him more than Dudley.
"Cissa! Your Hogwarts letter has arrived!" My mother called up to me. I snap out of my daydream and run down the stairs anxious  to open it. I nearly knocked Kreacher over! After I had apologised I went into the kitchen.
"Here you go darling,"mum says as she gives me my letter. I quickly open the envelope excited to see what lay inside.

Dear Miss Potter
     We are pleased to inform you that you have a place at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Please find the enclosed list of all necessary books and equipment.
Term begins on 1 September. We await your owl by no later than 31 July.

"Mum, Dad, James, Albus I got in!!" I screamed.
"Of course you got in, you are already quite powerful. Not to mention your elemental powers, sight and intelligence," my dad tells me.
"We better send back a reply," my mum says. I look over her shoulder to see what she is writing:
Neville
Narcissa Nymphandora Potter will be attending Hogwarts. lets hope she isn't like her father or uncles. She will see you on September 1.
Ginny Potter

James runs over and gives me a hug.
"Cissy I don't want you to go to Hogwarts.  Who will be my pranking buddy?" He cries
"Fred II will silly." I tell him
"Mum, dad can we go to Diagon Alley today?"
"I don't see why not, go and get ready" my mother tells me.
I sprint upstairs and put on a scarlet top, for Gryffindor, my parents house, and some blue jeans along with my navy converse. I pull my hair up into a plait and put on some mascara and eyeliner. I then arrive downstairs ready  to apparate to Diagon Alley with my parents. Kreacher is baby sitting the others.  I cannot wait to get to Ollivanders and Madame Malkains. I pick up my list of books to see what I need:

Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry

Uniform
  First Year Students will require:
1. One or more Black blazer, with Hogwarts crest
2. Plain white shirts
3. One pair of protective gloves ( dragon hide or similar)
4.Black or grey skirts for girls or trousers for boys.
5. House tie.
Set Books
All students should have a copy of the following:
The Standard Book of Spells Grade 1 by Miranda Goshawk
A history of Magic by Bathilda Bagshot
Magical theory
A  beginners guide to transfiguration
One thousand magical herbs and fungi
Magical drafts and potions
Fantastic beasts and where to find them
The dark forces a guide to self protection

Other equipment
1 wand
1 cauldron
1 set glass or crystal phials
1 telescope
1 set of brass scales

Students may also bring an owl or a cat or a road

I take my fathers hand, as Aunt Mione has organised a day with mum. So it is just a father daughter day.
