My theory goes that unicorns were first born by a rainbow that struck this planet with too much force. The hit had such a big impact that the magic of the rainbow created unicorns and now every time a rainbow appears 30 new unicorns are born. That's why every little kid associates unicorns with rainbows and why some of the unicorns grow to have rainbow powers :)
