Selena Knows

When Demi got home from the studio she was very emotional, they had just finished recording her song Warrior and it was a very deep song. She got inside and changed into her pajamas, then she felt her phone buzz "Hey Dem! Can't wait to see you tonight at diner, we have a lot of catching up to do!" Demi sighed, she completely forgot about going to Selena's for diner, she got up to go get changed again and her phone buzzed again, "Can't wait to see you tonight, let me know when you get home (;" She stared at her phone, 'crap i forgot we were going to tell Selena tonight' she quickly replied "i'm home but it'll be about an hour before i'm ready" She went in to her closet and chose the perfect outfit, simple but cute, a floral dress, denim jacket and some heels. She then went into the bathroom to fix her hair and do her makeup.

It had been about 45 minutes since she texted Justin and she was ready to leave, she heard her doorbell ring and was so happy Justin tends to be early. "Hey!" she heard a squeal, it was Selena. "Oh my god what are you doing here?" Demi asked "Well we're going out and i'm taking you in the limo" Demi froze. Justin should be here any second, Selena noticed Demi getting nervous. "What's wrong?" Selena asked her, "uhm it's just." Demi couldn't finish the sentence, Justin's car pulled into her driveway. "Shit" Demi mumbled. Selena was puzzled, "whats he doing here?" Demi couldn't even speak she was so nervous. "Uhm well that's why I came here, I was going to go with Demi to you're house so we could tell you." Selena was shocked, she looked at Demi and all Demi could do was nod. "Tell me what?" Selena said, sounding angry. Justin walked over to Demi and put her arm around her waist then looked up at Selena, "To tell you about us" Selena couldn't speak and Demi had tears in her eyes. "I'm so sorry I didn't tell you sooner, I just didn't know how." Demi said letting the tears spill down her cheeks. Selena's face softened, she hated seeing Demi cry. "It's okay, I understand." Selena looked them both, Justin was surprised he didn't think Selena would take it so well. Demi still had tears in her eyes, and Selena stepped closer to her. Justin took his arm from around Demi and Selena gave her a big hug. "Thank you for finally telling me" Selena said, her arms still around Demi. "Thank you for understanding" Demi said finally releasing Selena. "We should get going, Justin, you want to ride with us?" Selena asked him, he nodded and followed to two girls into the limo. 

Once at the restaurant Demi sat in-between Selena and Justin, they talked and caught up. Even Selena and Justin talked and laughed a bit, it made Demi feel better that were getting along. "How long have you two been seeing each other?" Selena asked, Demi and Justin just looked at each other, Justin broke the silence "A couple months" Selena gulped. "wow, that's a while." Demi fell awkwardly silent, "I'm sorry we didn't tell you sooner" Demi managed to get out. "it's fine, I understand, I probably would have done the same thing in your situation" Demi nodded, still uneasy about it. Selena put her hand on Demi's shoulder, "It's okay" she said. Demi smiled a bit, and nodded. When dinner was over they all hopped back in the limo, "Do you want us to drop by your house, or do you want us to drop you off at Demi's" Selena asked Justin, "my cars at Demi's so her house" Selena nodded and told the driver. "Thank you!" Demi yelled as she got out of the limo with Justin.  "Can I come inside?" he asked her, "how could I say no to you?" Demi said giggling
