Papyrus X Reader: No Smut

Papyrus Warming Up

You were having a weird dream that had all you new friends from the Underground. You, in the dream, are watching Sans. He was kneeled at a pile of grey powder and in his hand was papyrus' adorable handkerchief. You watched yourself in the dream and saw that your right hand held a knife with that same grey powder. The real you's heart began to beat faster. As you lifted your arm to slay Sans, it was stopped. His eye glowing. His cold voice seeping into your soul, I warned you... Now you are going to suffer and die a death 10x's worse...

You jolted upright and screamed. Then you put your hands to your mouth. You heard footsteps, and you hoped that it wasn't Sans.

"Y-Y/N? Are you alright?" Papyrus asked, slowly peeking through the door.

"I-I had a nightmare... A really scary one..." You said, your voice trembling like you were then.

"It's going to be quite alright, Y/N..." Papyrus said confidently as he walked in quickly until he was at your bedside.

You heard him gulp quietly, but you pretended not to notice. Papyrus climbs on top of the covers next to you and he holds you tightly.

Your cheeks warm up, and you wrap your short arms around Papyrus' large armor.

"I-I care about you quite a bit, Y/N... I think I like caring for you." He chuckled a bit, "nyeh heh... To think the great papyrus would ever say someone was even greater than he..."

Your cheeks blare the brightest shade of red, that it could of illuminated the whole room. You hold onto Papyrus even tighter, and you immediately forgot about the nightmare.

His comment about you being greater then him made your heart flutter and your soul buzz. You were so taken by the compliment that you didn't notice Sans leaning near the doorway, peering in.

In moments, Papyrus falls asleep in your arms. You decided that because your not ready to tell him when he's conscious, you whisper to him now, "Papyrus, the great Papyrus... I'm in love with you... I love you with all of my determined human soul."
