Alex POV:
I got ready for Open House which I try so many ways to pretend that I'm sick and we don't have to go,but nothing hasn't work. I got ready- I put on a black crop top sweater,with galaxy pants,black converse,and put on my dead pool bracelet. I got my phone and headphones,I went in the living room and saw Joven and Gabe,"hey Alex!" Gabe said,I was trying to avoid him in anyway possible but I guess I can't be since we are going to be in the same car together,"you look great!" Gabe added I decided to put on my headphones and listen to music until we get there. I put the volume low so I can still listen to what my dad has to say,that when he came right out,"OK, who is ready to go to an open house!?!"he said I just grab a water bottle and went outside to get in the car.

We got in the car and I was listening to music until I got a text from Gabe.

From Gabe: hey can we talk about the kiss?

To Gabe: there is nothing to talk about and I'm already seeing someone

From Gabe: who,don't tell me its Parker?

To Gabe: it is,and its very awkward that you know,and promise don't tell my dad or anyone!!! 😠

From Gabe: fine I won't tell no one,but if you don't tell your dad and he finds out. Don't bring me into it

To Gabe: OK, just keep your mouth shut

We glanced at each other and nod.

We arrived at the school which I felt a pit in my stomach- to be honest the only time my dad came to school was the day he registered me into this school. We all got out of the car and my the first thing I see is Parkers parents. I see that they are all dress up so nice while me and my dad dress up like we came from a horrible party,I took off my headphones and went up to Parker,"hey Parked!"I said he came up to me feeling very uncomfortable,"hey beautiful, why did you get to wear whatever?"he whined and I giggled,"because I'm not fancy like your family,besides I didn't care what I wear."I respond,"oh hey Alexandra!" Mrs. Martinez said,"hi Mrs. Martinez,how you been?"I ask nicely,"good how's your dad?"she ask,I don't know why but I'm very co hanging out with Parkers family,they are so cool and calm and they have good dinner,"great,he is engaged with is his girlfriend."I added,"that's is wonderful."she said,then Parkers sister start running towards me,"Alex!!!"she said I picked her up and hugged her,"hey April,how you been?"I ask she was always a sister to me,"good I just turn this many."she said putting up six fingers,"wow,you are a big girl now."I said,"yeah,can't wait to be just like you!!"she said pointing at me,"awe thank you." I gave her a kiss on the cheek,"Alex!!"I heard I turned around and saw my dad waiting for me,"I have to go,hope to see y'all around."I said putting April down,"Alexandra would you like to come to dinner with us next week?" Mr. Martinez ask,"yeah,sure I'll be there bye."I said while waving and went to my dad,"so I got your schedule so you won't trick me where we going..." My dad pointed out,"so first up is Mr. Johnson!"he said reading the paper,"that's where we going too!" Joven added we headed to Mr. Johnson room he was greeting everyone's parents then he saw me,"hi Alexandra, this must be your dad Mr. Moss!"he pointed at my dad,"yep,you wanted to talk to him so....yeah."I said then walked off.

Lasercorn POV:
Alex went off to look around while I stayed with her teacher,"so you must be Mr. Johnson!"I said we both shook each other hands,"yep,and I'm glad to see you Mr. Moss!" He replied,I don't know why but I got a feeling that Alex did something.

"So how is Alexandra doing sir?"I ask
"She been doing great,always returns her work on time,has straight A's,always get corrected answers,and never talks back." I was very confused I never thought of Alex lime that,then why did he wanted to see me.

"Then why did you needed me to come?"
"To ask why is Alexandra down all the time,I know she is doing everything correctly but she is always calm when she does her work. Now,she seems like she got something on her mind."
"Have she ever told you something or anything?"
"She told me she is scared what's going to happen in the future when you get married and you and your new wife go off while leaving her behind. I know its none of my business,you going on business trip but I always see her down all the time. You need to talk to her, I think she threw away the paper about the open house so she won't let me talk to you."

I nod,"thanks for telling me all this,I will make sure I will talk to her once we get home."I replied we shook hands and went to Alex's next class.

All of her teachers say that she is a great student and they have no problems with her,but why am I having problem with her? Next thing I know she is with the Martinez family again and she has a necklace around her neck,"hey you OK?" Joven ask scaring me a little,"yeah,just wonder why she is happy with them and not us?"I pointed at the Martinez family,"she is sometimes happy,just give her time. She will love us." Joven said I nod and called Alex over.

Alex POV:
Parker gave me this cute necklace with a 'P' on it,he told me it was to tell people that he's mine. Once my dad called me I put the necklace inside my sweater and went to the car.
