Me and Gabe went into Starbucks,"Hey Alex!"I heard I turn around and saw Abigail with Parker,one of my friends,"oh hey!"I said I start walking to there table,"who's he?"Parker said cold,"chill,this is my friend,Gabe Ovenshire,also the new student for our school."I said,"hey!"Gabe said,"hi I'm Abigail Smith and this is Parker Martinez."Abigail said I looked at Parker he seemed pretty piss,"so where y'all heading to?"Parker ask,"we are going to the ol-" "to the odd apartment, that would be my apartment. You know because my dad is weird remember."I said covering Gabe's mouth,"yeah we met your dad,he is odd."Abigail said,"but I love him." I said,"so its just y'all two,is your dad there?"Parker ask looking at his drink,"yeah my dad is not there,he is at work with Gabe's...... Dad?"I said I looked at Gabe and he gave me a look that's says that-is-ok look,"so this is the boy you were talking about?"Abigail ask,"you were talking about me?"Gabe ask,"I just said that you were coming to our school that's it."I said I felt my face blush,"Alex can we finish our project tomorrow at my house?" Parker ask,"yeah sure,I'll ask my dad."I said,"so we'll leave you two love birds alone,come on Parker."Abigail said she threw her cup away while Parker just looked at Gabe weird,"what's his problem?"Gabe ask,"I don't know and I don't care."I said we both laugh,we got our drinks and I skateboarded away while Gabe was chasing me.

Subway

We were enter the old subway and I saw my bag and a note on it: Dear Alex
Just remembered that you always come here every after school. So I brought your bag to you. Love Dad ❤

I start to smile,"I guess that's your bag?"Gabe ask,"yeah,I've never let it go,and I will never."I said,"so what are you going to paint?"Gabe ask,"well don't tell my dad,but since his birthday is coming up. I decided to make something special."I said I start to go to the part of the subway that is covered with a blanket,I took the blanket away and it reveals a big giant unicorn,with rocket launchers,and the horns are shooting lasers. "Wow,you did that?"Gabe ask,"yeah,its supposed to be my dads tattoo he has on his back,please don't tell him,its a secret."I said he nod his head.

We start playing music while panting,"hey Alex."Gabe said,"yeah?"I said,"do you ever miss your mom?" He ask I start to think of the moments I had with my mom.

Flashback
I was coming up the stairs to my way to my moms room,I made it to her room and saw she was looking at pictures,"Mommy what are you doing?"I ask,"come her honey."she said I walked to her bed and sat on her bed I saw her looking at baby photos of me,Austin,and Cassy,"is this me?"I ask pointing at me on the picture,"yes,Alex I want you to listen to me."my mom said I looked at her,"when you,Austin,and Cassy are alone or me and your daddy die or something I want you to take care of Austin and Cassy. You are one minute older then them,you need to protect them please." She said I saw a tear down her cheek I know something will happen,"I promise I will protect them mommy."I started to cry a little,she gave me a tight hug. I gave her a tight hug too,she started to sing me the song from the little mermaid,she knew that I love the little mermaid.

Flashback over

"Alex!!hello,Earth to Alex!!"I heard I looked and saw Gabe in front of me snapping his fingers,"oh,sorry I was just thinking of my mom."I said,"I'm not going to lie but I miss my mom,even though I never met her,I miss her." He said,"it must be painful but its hard that for me not to see my mom again."I said looking down,he lifted my head with his finger. Now I'm looking at his chocolaty brown eyes,I felt different inside that I never felt before. "Have I ever told you that you have beautiful oven blue eyes." He said I started to blush like crazy red,"thank you."I said my phone started to ring it was my dad.

A: hello?

L: hey I need you to come home now please.

A: OK I'm on my way.

I hang up and told Gabe we need to go home,we start putting things away. I covered the unfinish Lasercorn and we left.
