You and Ciel were out on a small vacation at a holiday house. You guys both decided it was time for a break after they had finished 100 cases with no holiday. You both decided to leave your demons back at the mansion so it could just be the two of you. It made you happy that you could spend time with your one and only. You knew that it wasn't going to be long until you return to the mansion and do some more cases.

It was the last day of your little vacation so you decided to wake up a few minutes earlier to make some breakfast in bed for your beloved. You weren't the best of cooks but it wasn't going to stop you from trying. It was easy getting out of your shared bed since Ciel was pretty tired after you guys went out on a late night walk.

Being tired yourself, you almost fell asleep mixing the batter together. You were pretty sure you knew the recip, since Sebastian had taught you it over and over again. Your determination was at it's max and you wanted this to be perfect more than anything.

Once you had finished with the batter, you butered your pan and started pouring the mixture out onto the pan. The first one wasn't the best - it was burned to the crisp. You were amazed how there was no smell or burning at all. So you tried your second pancake. Burned. Third? Burned. You almost gave up but, when you remembered what was motivating you, you couldn't stop here.

It wasn't long until you had finished up the whole batter and had no more ingrediants to make more. You accepted failure right there and then. But lucky for you, Sebastian had came early to pick you up. You had  pleaded Sebastian to make some perfect pancakes which he did. You thanked him and shooed him away so it looked like it was you that had created these delicous pancakes. Not Sebastian. Sure it was selfish but come on, for the one you love?

You slowly walked back into your room to find Ciel still sleeping like a little child. How cute. "Ciel, time to wake up, I have pancakes." You happily cooed. Ciel had woken up to the sound of pancakes. You smiled at the thought. He had thanked you for the meal and dug in. He was surprised on how it could be so delicous. He had complimented you many times during his meal. You were extremely happy at his reply to 'your' meal.

Soon after, your parents had called you to come home earlier than expected. You and Ciel bid eachother goodbye, and went different ways. When Ciel had gotten into the carriage with Sebastian, he had one question he wanted to ask him. "Sebastian, did you make those pancakes that (y/n) gave me?" "Yes I did. I think that lady  (y/n) was too dissapointed in her lack of cooking skills so she called upon mine." Sebastian had replied. "Silly girl. If she had made any type of food delicous or burnt, I would still eat it. I know that she would put her most efforts in her cooking. How cute of her."
