[9] First day and Feelings

Mikayla POV

Magcon Day 1. Here we go. I woke up to the piercing blare of my alarm clock. I groaned into my pillow. One day I swear I'm gonna get Apple to delete the clock app. Stupid alarm clock.

I dragged myself out of bed and got ready for Magcon. I put on a Cameron dallas shirt and paired it with some denim shorts and black vans. "Cute outfit." Mahogany complimented. Snapping a pic with her,I captioned it "Magcon here we go."

Suddenly, my hotel room door was flung open.
"Mikayla Espinosa! Get ur lazy butt outta bed. Oh wait, you're up." Nash shouted. We got everyone out of the room and headed to the venue. Along the way, Cameron wrapped his arm around my shoulder. We did this all the time since we're best friends. "You look nice in my shirt," Cameron winked. I felt butterflies fluttering in my stomach. I've never felt this way before.

We finally reached the venue and set up. The Jacks and Jacob were gonna sing. While Shawn and I were gonna do a duet. "What song?" He asked.
"How about, Little Do You Know by Alex and Sierra?" He gave me a thumbs up and we rehearsed. When we got onstage to open up, the room was more packed than ever. Many girls holding up "we love u Mikayla" posters almost made me cry.

Soon, it was finally time for us to perform. My heart plummeted to the depths of my stomach and I almost lost my breath. Breathe Mikayla breathe. "Hey, u got this. I've heard ur voice many times. You're a natural." Cameron said trying to calm my nerves. One of the many reasons why he's my Best Friend. He knows exactly what to do during times like this.

Taking a deep breath I started.

We harmonised perfectly with each other. After we finished, there was a pin drop silence. Then, the crowd started cheering and applauding reverberated through the whole venue. I let out a relieved sigh. I did it.

The rest of Magcon, we danced around the stage and the boys did their little competitions. As I did my meet and greet, lots of girls came up to me and started crying. I felt like crying to see the overwhelming support I had from my fans.

As the time gamer for the fans to ask questions, Cameron picked a girl that was about our age with a galaxy muscle tee. "OMG I'm such a big fan of u and Mikayla. U guys are my inspiration. And u guys are literally Best Friend goals. Please tell me that u guys are maybe more than friends." She gushed. I blushed red and looked away. " I can answer that for them. Who here ships Mikayla and Cameron raise up their hand." Matt said. The whole crowd raised their hands, even the cast of Magcon and the crew. I blushed harder if that was even possible.
"We're just friends guys. We've been best friends since we were 5." I answered trying to sound convincing. Cameron nodded his head. I silently screamed out of frustration. He definitely doesn't like me like that. What was I thinking? Yet again, he was blushing red. Aww he looked so cute. Stop it Mikayla.

Cameron POV

When that girl asked a question. Mikayla answered with a "no". My heart dropped. I mean it's not her fault. We aren't together. I wish we were though. Everything about her is perfect. Even her imperfections  make her even more perfect if that even made sense. Through the 12 years of spending time together, my feelings have grown stronger and stronger. I'm not even sure if I even like her. Maybe it's love. But that's never gonna happen. I saw her blush and look away. She looks cute when she blushes. What is she doing to me?
