Mikayla POV I woke up to the rays of sunlight glaring on my face. Memories of yesterday started flooding in my head. Don't cry over a boy that's not worth it Mikayla.
I went to the bathroom and got ready for magcon. I looked in the mirror only to see a tear stained face with puffy eyes. Argh. I got changed into a a floral romper and paired it with a jean vest and strappy sandals .[picture below ]

I wasn't gonna let Madison or Jack get to me. I brushed my hair and made sure I showed no signs that I was crying all night. You can do this Mikayla.
Mahogany woke up and a big grin broke out on her face. "Ready to show Jack what he missed out on?" I nodded with a smile and went down to the venue, hands linked together.
We walked in confidently and the boys stared in shock, mouth agape. "Mikayla's back everyone." Taylor cheered while the rest of the boys hooted and whistled. I gave a smile and went to rehearse with Shawn. "Guys lets do something different. Let's have a sing-off. Everyone who can actually sing will participate. Then we'll let the fans decide who's team won." Carter suggested. The first team was- Me Shawn Jacob. The other team was-Jack Madison and Johnson. [a/n Johnson can sorta sing]
Magcon finally started and it was time for the sing-off. The screams of teenage girls echoed through the stadium.Then, Madison who so called "can sing", decided that I would be the easiest target and challenged me. She finished singing Problem by Ariana Grande. She couldn't even hit the high note what even.
Let's show who's boss then. I took the mic from her and nodded at Mahogany who was DJ-ing. "So this song actually explains what I feel. All of u know it. Sing along with me."

The crowd shrieked with delight like there was no tomorrow. When I finished the boys "oohed" and and Nash said into the mic " You slay girl." I took a bow and it was deciding between me and Madison. Use ur imagination. Of course I won, some girls shouted and said Madison sounded like a dying panda 😂.
It was time for the meet and greet and the fans could all ask us questions. I was seated next to Cameron and out of nowhere he held my hand. I could've sworn electricity was flowing through our hands cause all I could feel was sparks. I looked down and he used his fingers to tilt my chin up. "You okay now Kay?" Kay, that was my nickname since I was 10. My family calls me that all the time, but hearing him say it, makes it way more special. I blushed a replied with a 'yes' and tried to pay attention to the fans and keep my cool but inside I was dying. He held my hand. My attention was snapped back to one particular statement though.
"Mikayla, I'm in love with u. U and Cameron are my otp. I just wanted to say that if u guys date, thousands of girls here would literally die of happiness." I gave a smile to that girl and my face turned hotter and hotter by the second. I saw Cameron blush and look away too. Then, my eyes fell upon Jack who's fist are clenching and his eyes are narrowed.
He grabbed the microphone from me and said," Guys I have an announcement. Madison Beer is my Girlfriend now and I couldn't be happier. She lights up my world and she's the only girl I actually like. I hope u guys are happy with my decision."
The fans literally started booeing and some even cried. "Madison is a playgirl, Madison will only use u, she sleeps with everyone."
I felt tears well up in my eyes. After magcon, I ran backstage and locked myself in a janitor's closet. He said she's the only girl he ever liked. Was his feelings for me all fake? No crying Mikayla. You're not weak anymore. Then I heard a voice.
"Kay, come out. He's not here. Please talk to me." I know that voice. I unlocked the door only to be pulled into a bear hug. His smell of his cologne wafted into my nostrils. His hugs could literally make all ur problems go away. I buried my face at the crook of his neck as he rubbed my back soothingly. " I know it's tough Kay, but he doesn't deserve u. If he can't see what a catch u are, he's blind. Anyone would be lucky to even be ur Friend. I know because I got the privilege of me being ur best friend." Cameron soothed. I missed his hugs. I gave a small sniffle and a slight smile. He gave a mischievous smile and carried me bridal style to the limo.
During the whole ride back to the hotel. I was busy challenging Shawn Nash Matt Cameron and Mahogany to a game of Piano Tiles. We were so hooked on the game we didn't realise what was going on in the limo. Soon the rest of the boys started scooching towards us and joined in. I gave them a questionable look and they gestured to Madison and Jack, who were basically sucking each other's face off. I let out a chuckle and we carried on with our game. All of a sudden, when Nash and Taylor were about to die, they immediately bumped into everyone next to them so that they would lose too. "TAYLOR CANIFF AND NASH GRIER!" They gave a cheeky grin and flipped their imaginary hair. I'm gonna miss these boys when I go back home.
