[11] Happiness to Heartbreak

Mikayla POV
"Knock Knock" ugh who's that? I got up and groggily went to answer the door. Jack. He was standing outside my door. I quickly smoothed out my bed hair and checked my morning breath. Ew. Ugh nvr mind.

"Hey Mikayla sorry to wake u up. But I just had to ask u this. Would u go out with me?" Jack asked,scratching the back of his neck. Gosh he looked so cute. Wait what?! Did he just ask me out?! OMG! Jack Finnegan Gilinksy asked me out!!

I replied with a big yes and closed the door once he was gone. I jumped on a sleeping Mahogany and shook her.

"What?! Where's the burglar? " Mahogany woke up with a jolt and scanned the room. "What burglar? Anyways JACK ASKED ME OUT!! AAAHHH!! " She fell back to bed with a thud.

"U didn't have to pounce on me girl. BUT OMG JACK ASKED U OUT! EEEKK! WE HAVE TO GET U READY?" She squealed. The date was at 2pm and it was 10 am now. I went to shower while Mahogany picked out my outfit.[picture on top 👆] I was finally done but Jack wasn't here yet. I went to Cameron and Matt's room to find out where he was.

"Hey guys. Have u seen Jack? " Nash and Matt just shook their heads while Cameron just looked sad. What happened to him? "Nice outfit for a first date girly." Nash said in a girl voice. "We'll help u find Jack." Cameron sullenly said as he headed out the door. Did I do something wrong?

We went to all the boys' rooms and they have no idea where he went either. All the boys agreed to help me find him and we finally went to his room. He wasn't there either. "Look, I really don't want this to be true, but that leaves one room left." Taylor said. Madison's. Please no.

I hesitantly walked towards her room. Even from a distance away, I could hear moaning sounds. No no no. The door wasn't locked tightly and was slightly ajar. I prayed that I wouldn't see what I thought I would but I had to find out. As I walked in, my jaw dropped.

There Jack was, laying in bed with a half naked Madison. "What the heck!" I screamed. Jack immediately pushed Madison off him and tried to find his shirt and wipe the lipstick stains off his face. "Mikayla.... It's not what it looks like." He stuttered. He scrambled to put his shirt on and reached for my hand. While Madison was still laying on her bed with a devious smirk on her face. Jack reached out and tried to hold my hand. "Don't touch me. It's not what it looks like? Well cause it looks like my date is banging a girl who hates my guts behind my back just after he asks me out on a date. I can't believe u Jack. I actually liked u and u do this?! Control ur hormones cause ur just another cliche teenage boy. Don't even think about that date. Have a nice relationship with her Jack." With that I pushed the boys aside. Tears were streaming down my face. I can't let them see me cry. I ran out of the room and grabbed my guitar and ran up to the one place nobody could find me. The roof.

Taking a deep breath, I let all the thoughts flow through. How could he? Was I not good enough? Of course he would go for Madison. How could I have not seen it? Madison was always flirting with Jack since day 1. Of course he would go for her. Tears were pouring down my face like a endless river. Why me? I could only do one thing. Sing.

"Even when she's crying, her voice is angelic" I whipped my head around only to see Carter Aaron Jacob and Taylor. "Hey guys." I smiled weakly." Where the rest?" I sniffled.

"Um well Cameron and Matt went insane after what happened and were trying to kill Jack. Nash and Shawn are holding them back now." Taylor replied.

As much as I hate Jack now. My mind told me to leave Jack but my heart told me to stop them. I raced down the stairway and into the room. There I saw Cameron and Matt struggling to break free out of Shawn and Nash's grip, fury written on all their faces. I immediately rushed to Matt. "Shh shh relax, it's okay. As much as I hate to say it, hurting Jack would do no good. Take a deep breath and kiat wall it off. I'm fine, you should be too." I soothed. His muscles tensed less and gave me a big hug. Mumbling against my hair he said, " I'm sorry he hurt u Kay, I'm sorry. Curse ur kind heart in not letting me beat him up." He gave me an apologetic look and walked out of the room. Now it was the hard part-Cameron.

Even after I calmed Matt down he was only fighting stronger. It had to take both Nash and Shawn to keep him back. I placed my hand in his cheek. "Hey, calm down. Cameron look at me. I'm fine. Relax Cameron relax." He seemed to calm down once I touched him. But his muscles were still tense. "He hurt you. And u still want to protect him?" He gritted his teeth.

"Hey, I'm the one that should be angry. He's not worth it. Look at me Cameron, just look at me." His shoulders dropped and his face showed pain more than anger. "Good. Nash Shawn take care of him. I gotta air things out." I gave Jack one last hard look as he looks at me with pleading eyes.

I just kept walking and walking until I came to my room. I opened the door and met Mahogany with a sympathetic look oh her face. I can't cry in front of the boys. But I can in front of her and she knows it. I rushed to her open arms and just everything out. Tears of sadness turned into tears of anger then back to sadness. I was a crying mess but Mahogany didn't care. We just laid on the bed where she whispered comforting words. " He's not worth ur time sweetie. I swear when I get my hands on him....."

Slowly I felt myself drift off. Soon all I could see was black.
