I met with Elizabeth downstairs and then we left. We were just walking through town. It was so different! People were dressing unusual. I mean nobody was wearing jeans or skirts or anything like that. Little girls were wearing dresses, some of them. But girls and women in general were wearing leggings or some sort of pants like that. And men were wearing normal, brown trousers.
"So Ariana, what would you like to know first?" Elizabeth asked me.
"Um... why do people dress so... weird?" I asked not wanting to insult them.
"That's the way people here dress." She simply answered.
"So this is like a fairy tale?! As in no electricity or water? Wait! There is electricity because I charged my phone!"
"No, we are more modern than the usual fairy tales. But in some cases we are like the fairy tales."
"Ok... is there really magic?"
"Yes dear."
"Can I learn?" I gasped.
"No, it's far too dangerous."
"Boo! Are there mystical creatures?"
"Yes. We have goblins, elfs, dragons mermaids..." She didn't finish her sentence, because I interrupted her.
"UNICORNS?!" I shouted.
"Yes dear." She smiled. "There are unicorns. They are rare, but we have some. Almost impossible to find, unless you go to their land of course."
"Ok... uh... what do people do for fun?"
"A lot of things! Like fishing or hunting, but if you don't like those things you can go swimming in the lake, or you can go to the beach, horse back riding, a lot more."
"So this place isn't that boring, is it?!"
"Who said it was boring?"
"I did..." I smiled a bit saying that. "Please don't tell me I'm gonna marry a snobby prince!!" I said realizing we're in a place where kings and queens are the next generation.
"Of course not! Here we believe in real love."
"You do? Why? It's stupid."
"That's what you think now. But when you'll feel it, you'll change your mind."
"Whatever... will I make any friends? I get lonely..."
" Of course you will! Now let's go back to the castle it's getting dark, and it's not safe out here at night."
"Ok, let's go. One more thing. Will I have to wear big, uncomfortable dresses?" I asked hoping the answer will be 'no'.
"Rarely, at balls and regal parties, but you can wear anything you want as long as it's classy." she said. It was ok, I mean I can wear a dress.... maybe.
We headed back to the castle, we entered and we headed to the dinning table to eat something. After we ate I headed to my room and decided to take a shower. I placed my phone in the dock in the bathroom and then locked the door behind me. I stripped and hopped in the shower. I rinsed my body with my blueberry shower gel and then just enjoyed the hot water. After what seemed like 15 minutes I decided to get out.
I reached for my towel and wrapped it around my body, then went and put on some clothes. After that I just went to bed.
