1) The so called cousin
This happens every single time to me . Like random people just comes to my house and claim that they are my cousins.. Dude where were you when I was a kid and wished i had some cousins to play with ?? And the worst part is the introduction.
mom : ( *screams sweetly*)Jess!! where are you ? bathing ? learning ? hey you there ? where are you dear. Look who is here for you.
me : (*whispers*) Wait what mom never calls me dear !! what happened to her ! who i here for me ? wait what? Did my prince charming from the disneyland arrive to take me with him ?
* I walk into the living room with so much hope to see who it is*
Wow three strangers staring at me along with my mom.. The two I guess are couples and the small boy must be their so. So this is all i know about them
Mom : Look !! Happy ?
okay now i have to act like i know them!! not just that ! I should get excited to see them.
2) watching a movie
Man !! these days watching movies with parents are awkward because there are a lot of matured jokes in these movies and we have to pretend that we don't get it. And the kiss scene! Dude like what the hell. Stop kissing my parents are watching the movie with me. and sometimes when i watch and innocent movie in the t.v even these guys in the movie start kissing just when my parents pass by. And now they think I am watching an A certified movie.. This is really akward cuz we no matter how old we grow ! we are always their little ones .
3) Nicknames in front of friends
Okay so this one is depressing. I have an amazing name and i love it. But the name my parents call me is awkward, and if my friends are around !! WOW ! double awkward.
* parents teachers meet day *
Me : yea ! that's what the teacher told me
Friend 1 : really she said that? I can't believe it.
Mom : yes, the teacher told me that jassu is really quite in the class. Even i can't believe it .
Friend 2 : Jassu ?? is that jessy's nickname ??
Me : no no no no
Mom : yes ! that's my little baby's nickname.. Isn't it cute ?
