I wander the school halls with my hat pulled over my eyes, staring at the floor, I only have one binder I carry around; I don't really copy notes. Everything is pointless if you know it anyway.
I shoved my way through the crowd when u was encountered by a buff, tall 12th grader.
"What the hell you doing here?" He talked in a strong voice. I wasn't supposed to be in the 12th grade hallway, I was only in 11th grade.
He smiled grimly at me. "Well, well. You're the kid who no one"s heard of. The..shady one" His smile faded. "Listen here kid. Don't pass by here again, fucking wanker" he shoved me into a locker and walked away. I picked up my books and started walking again.
"Are you okay?"
My brother was always here to help me. He was actually the only one I talk to.
"Yeah, thanks bud" I say, fixing my hat so he could see my full face again.
"Is this a daily thing for you?" He said, picking up a paper and handing it to me.
"Nah. I don't get bullied. It's just- those guys..woke up on the wrong side of the bed today"
He chuckled. "And how would you know that?"
"Eh. Just a feeling"
We both chuckled as we separated into our own classes. His was history- mine was math.

During math class, the strangest thing happened. My school was put on lockdown, and during lockdown the lights flickered in the class. But soon, the announcements came on, saying it was just a "false alarm" but something tells me it was more than that....

After class I walk out into the hallway and meet my brother.
"Did of you see that?" He said.
"I'm in your school, Ryan. 'Course I did"
"But you know it was more than a false alarm"
I don't turn my head; I don't want to look at him. "You know what it is" he reminded me.
"Meet me at home" I say, running off.
