I got home and showered, I got ready to go to the back to school cookout.
I met up with some friends and found out who I had class with. I ended up talking to a lot of people and getting to know some new ones.
The cookout lead to a party and I went home and changed. As I was walking out my roommate Telly came out her room. She looked dressed
"Yas Telly! Where you going?"
"To the party. I'll drive"
I hugged her
"Thank you Telly"
We got into her car and we was out
"Yo why I saw Nella and her crazy ex together?"
"That's what I'm trying to figure out too"
"It's whatever don't stress"
"Why would I Tel?
"You right. Just know that no matter what I got your back"
"Telinda, I know you do" We both laughed
"How is he anyways"
"Telly from the last time you saw him he is so busy and nosey. He be wanting to see and know everything . I miss my stinka already"
"I can't wait for our break so I can go and see him. I told you to facetime me right after he started trying to sit up "
That's what I loved about Telly. She would let you know what's up but then tell you not to stress it.
We was let into the party right away
"I be forgetting you know everyone" Telly said
I laughed
We grabbed some bottle of water and someone pulled me to dance with them. I wanted to enjoy the night and that's exactly what I did
3 hours later the party was over. This was the first party out here that I went to that ended without a fight. There was this dude that was walking in front of me with his hair out
"I love your hair" I said to him
He turned around looked at me and smiled
"We love you too" he winked
I kept walking behind him with Telly. We was talking until the dude with the long hair stopped us. We noticed people were fighting in front of us and behind us. Him and his boys made sure we was able to get to the stairs to leave. As soon as we got to the stairs another fight broke out. They grabbed us and made sure we got to the door.
When we got to the door Steven and the basketball team was right behind us. They had a few football players with them.
"Yo someone text Mere and tell him we got Telly and Maj" one of them yelled
"Nah seriously we not about to be fighting so stay clear" another one yelled
Telly and I was surrounded by them. They made sure we was good and walked us to her car. Before we could get in the car another fight broke out.
"Yo get safe and we about to follow ya" someone shouted
Telly and I got into the car
I called Mere
"You good?" Mere asked
"Yea but what happened?"
I put him on speaker as Telly started to drive
"Two frats got into it"
"You good Symere?"
"Yes I wasn't there something had came up last minute and I know you good. I had about 6 people texting me that you was good."
"Yea some guys had us then the basketball and football team"
"Yes thank you big brother" Telly said
"Your welcome and you too Telly"
Telly just looked at the phone
"Thanks Sy"
I laughed and hung up on him.
Telly pulled over so I could drive to this diner that the boys had suggested. We switched and I was out.
The guys made it there 10 minutes after us but we already had the tables. I sat at the end with Telly next to me. It was about 12 of us, telly and I were the only girls.
"Guess this was a great welcome back"
We all started laughing
