QUAILPOOL'S POV:
Everyone stares at me as I walk by, especially Daisytail. And I know why. My tail is gone.
In the storm, when we got hit by lightening, the scar went up to my tail. The wound was too deep to heal, and if I kept it there I would get an infection and possibly die. So now it's gone.
But I don't really mind the strange looks, all I'm thinking about is the dream. When we were in ThunderCaln territory, I realized that we need to travel there.
My heart travels to the leader's den.
"Quailpool!" I call, padding in from the entrance.
When I'm inside, I see Willowstar talking with Fernheart. Perfect.
"Umm, I need to tell you two something." I murmur shuffling so I'm beside them.
Willowstar nods her approval, and they both look my way.
"The 4 needs to travel to our old territory." I say quickly, worried what there thoughts would be.
"You found the rest of the 4?! No one alerted me about this!" She meows sharply, and I take a step back.
"Yes, we have. Daisytail, Falconear, Dawnpaw, and I." I answer, giving them a faint smile.
"I knew it would come to this." Meows Fernheart, swishing her tail back and forth.
"You did?" Willowstar and I mew in unison.
"Yes. I kept having dreams with StarClan cats whispering, 'bring them from the old and into the new' and I think I know what it means." Fernheart gives us a sly look.
"What does it mean?" Asks Willowstar.
"It means we have to bring the clans to our new home before something bad happens." I comment, looking at Fernheart to see if it was the right answer.
"Ok, the 4 can go to our old home, just to warn them. But you must bring Cloudstem, Mistystep, and Rainwhisker also." Willowstar says, a proud look on her face.
"We'll leave at sundown." I confirm. I mew goodbye as I leave the den and go gather the cats on the journey.
And as I walk out, I hear Willowstar and Fernheart meow, "Good Luck." I flick my ears to signal that I heard them and kept walking.
"Daisytail! Falconear! Dawnpaw! Cloudstem! Mistystep! Rainwhisker!" The cats pad next to me as I make an announcement.
"Willowstar and Fernheart says we must travel to our old home and warn the clans about something bad that is going to happen." I meow, giving Falconear, Dawnpaw, and Daisytail a wink.
"What do we have to warn them about?" Asks Mistystep, her silver fur shining with flakes of snow.
It was snowing. I almost forgot leaf-bare is right around the corner, and we are going to be traveling right into the middle of it!
"I'm not sure exactly," I answer Mistystep, "but it's something that will kill them if we don't save them."
They all nod in agreement. They would come.
"We leave at sundown." I say, and we all disperse so we can say our last goodbyes before we risk our lives. We're going to save the clans.
THAT WAS A BIT OF A FILLER CHAPPY, BUT CHAPTER 10
