Kidnapped Again?

chapter 6

Tyler's POV: I don't know how long it lasted but it seemed forever. She still hasn't known what happened she was just laying on the ground with a blanket over her asleep. Charles didn't tell me where he was going he just threw me and Zoey into an empty bedroom locked the door and walked out. There was no windows, even if there was it wouldn't matter. Her leg is broken and mine was shot. There is no way we can escape now, hopefully Luke and Ema will get help fast before anything else happens especially to Zoey. I looked at Zoey and she was starting to wake up so I slowly moved over to her. "Hey sweetheart" I said and she opened her eyes and looked at me. "What....what happened" she asked and I thought for a second. I couldn't decide if I wanted to tell her, I mean maybe she would be happier not knowing, but what if she feels hurt that I didn't tell her. "What I'm about to tell you will upset you" I said and she went to sit up and the blanket fell off of her revealing her bare skin and she looked terrified. "Here" I said and I took my shirt off and she put it on. It was baggy on her. "Come here" I said and she moved over to me. I held her in my arms and looked her in the eyes. "Zoey, he....he raped you" I said and her eyes teared up. "It will be ok" I said and I hugged her. I could hear her sobbing into my shoulder. "I love you Zoey nothing will change that, and Luke and Ema will get help soon, until then I promise to protect you" I said and she stopped crying and pulled away from the hug. "Ema got away" she asked confused. "Yes her and Luke did" I said and she smiled. "Good" she said and she hugged me again. "Well look who's up" Charles said walking into the room. There was another man with him and I could feel Zoey grab my hand and squeeze it very hard. "Its ok" I whispered to her. "This is Doctor Sugar he needs to check your stomach and leg, oh and also your leg too Tyler" he said and she just looked down at her lower half. "Here" Charles said and he threw sweatpants at her.

She quickly put them on and sat back down beside me. "Lay down" the doctor told her and she looked at me and then she laid down. He lifted up her shirt and she grabbed his hands. "Calm down I'm not going to do anything bad" he said and she let go. He set up a little TV like thing that had the ultrasound machine connected to it. He put gel on the weird handle thing and then pressed it to her stomach. "That's cold" she said and he moved it around on her stomach and we all looked at the screen. The was a tiny white dot showing where the baby was growing. "There's no heartbeat" the doctor said and she looked upset. "So the baby is dead" she asked and Charles just looked down like he actually felt bad. "Yes I'm sorry" the doctor said and she sat up and moved over to me. "Its all your fault you're the one that probably killed my baby you've been throwing me around and abusing me and you raped me" she screamed at Charles and I held her down so she wouldn't charge at him. "I can remove it now if you'd like" he said to Charles and hr nodded. "Ok but please check their legs first" he said and the doctor came back over to Zoey and he used a x-ray machine and saw it was broken in two places. "Come by my office later so I can give her a cast" he said and Charles nodded. He moved over to me and pressed on my leg below the bullet and I winced. "I can take the bullet out later at my office" the doctor told Charles. "Ok go ahead and go to your office we'll be there in an hour" Charles said and the doctor gathered his things and left. Zoey just sat beside me clinging to my side as if she was terrified to let go. "Its ok" I said and I kissed her forehead. That's when she completely broke down.

"Nothing is ok" she screamed at me and she let go of me. "My leg is broke, I've been raped more than once, there is a dead baby inside of me and my best friend is who knows where" she screamed again and Charles smiled. "You may have broke me but I promise I will pay you back" she said looking Charles dead in the eye and he wiped his grin away. He must of knew she was serious and planned to get him back good. "Come on we have to go to the doctors office now" Charles said and we stayed sitting on the ground. "How do you expect us to walk you broke her leg and shot mine, we need legs to walk" I said and he swung her over his shoulder and she screamed for him to put her down. "You can hop on one leg" he said to me and I did. I didn't want to get hurt anymore, if I got hurt to badly I wouldn't be able to protect her. He put her in a seat of of his car and I sat down beside her. We buckled our seat belts and he started the car. "Act like you are my kids, if you do anything stupid I will hurt you" he said and he pulled out of the driveway. Zoey gripped onto my arm and laid her head on my shoulder. "I love you" she whispered and I smiled. "I love you too baby" I said and she closed her eyes. I didn't care I knew she needed sleep and I was going to let her have it. Around ten minutes later we were at the hospital. We got out and he got wheelchairs for us. "We're here to see Dr.Sugar" Charles said to the desk lady. "Names please and why are you here" she said and he looked at us. "I'm Bill Cooper, that's Bree Cooper and Nate Cooper, we were hunting and he fell and accidentally shot himself in the leg and she was running away from an animal while we were hunting and she fell on a rock and her leg broke" he said and she wrote it down.

Zoeys POV: I kept looking at the desk lady hoping she would realize. I couldn't make it obvious that I was trying to get help though. I looked at her and she looked concerned and then I just broke down into tears. Charles looked back at me and gave me a death glare. "Sorry my leg hurts really bad" I said and he turned away. I looked around and saw posters for lost kids. I quickly pointed my finger at them and she saw. They were right beside a drinking fountain. "Excuse me I'm going to get a quick drink" she said and Charles nodded not even bothering to look back which was good otherwise he would know what was about to happen. I saw her looking at the posters and she walked back over and she acted like she didn't know anything. "Go ahead and take a seat over there, I'll tell him you're here" she said and he sat down and me and Tyler wheeled ourselves over. She picked up the phone but she didn't look at us. I could tell she didn't want to make it obvious that she was calling the police. "Kidnapped" is all I heard her say and Charles picked both me and Tyler out of our wheelchairs and ran. "Stop" the lady at the desk yelled and she ran after us. He threw us into his car and drove off as fast as possible. "I told you not to do anything" he said and I could tell he was angry. "We didn't, she was watching the news and she must have heard something about us" I said I was happy about how fast I came up with a lie. "Now we have to go to another hospital" he said and he did a really fast U-Turn back to the house. "I have to get something" he said and I saw him smile an evil grin. "Meet me at my house I have two for sale" I heard him say over the phone and I started to freak out. For sale what does that mean. We got to the house and it was surrounded with police cars. "Get out of your car slowly" an officer said and I saw Luke and Ema and I got out of the car with Tyler limping over to where the police were. I heard a shot and I looked back and Charles was dead but then someone grabbed me. I looked back and it wasn't an officer. It was a complete stranger. "Help" I screamed and the drug me away. They threw me in a van and I heard shooting and I stayed down as low as I could while trying to get out.

It was hard to see through all of my tears. This time I was alone, I've never had to be alone through this.
