Kidnapped Again?

chapter 11

Zoey's POV: "I'm so sorry" I told John as we waited in the car for everyone else. "Its fine" he said and I saw them coming. Ema opened the door and she hugged me extremely tight. "Thanks I needed that" I said and everyone got in the car. "I told Brittany that you were coming home" he said as he started driving back to the house. We got back and me Ema, Tyler, and Jake all went up to mine and Ema's room. "I hate how you have to go to court tomorrow" Ema said and everyone agreed. "Ya it hurts you so much to have to go through with this" Tyler said and I sat down on the bed. "Ema can you help me pick an out if it" I asked and she nodded her head yes. She helped me pick out a dark blue lace dress and black flats and she decided she would to my makeup and curl my hair.

The next morning

Me and Ema woke up around ten and started to get ready. We had to be at the court at noon. I put on my outfit and then Ema did my hair and makeup. Next she put on her outfit and we went downstairs. The guys came down finally ready at 11:30 and we all piled in the car and headed to the court room. We got there at 11:48. I saw Kat and Jade and we all hugged and then we saw Alex and I got tears in my eyes. Before we knew it, it was starting.

I haven't watched law and order in awhile so cut me some slack if this court thing is messy XD

"All rise in the court" someone said and we all stood up. "May I have Zoey up to the stand" my lawyer and Kat and Jades lawyer said and I stood up and walked over to the stand and sat down. I had to put my hand on the Bible after I sat down. "Do you swear to say the truth and nothing but the truth" they asked. "I do" I said and they took the Bible away. "Cassie can you please tell me the full story of what happened to you" my lawyer asked me. "What's there to tell he killed my parents and he killed my brother and he was about to kill me" I said and I tried not to look at him. "Is it true that him and his girlfriend adopted you, Kate and Jade" she asked. "Yes" I answered her. "Do you see this woman in the court room today" she asked and I looked around. "Yes" I said. "Can you tell me where" she asked. "Over there" I said pointing at her. "Do you know her name" she asked me. "Tori" I answered. "That's all" the lawyer said and she sat down and then Alex's lawyer stood up. "Do you have any proof of this man kidnapping you" he asked me. "Other than the fact that he kidnapped two other girls then no" I answered him. "Is it true you got kidnapped again by another man and you were raped and had a baby inside of you but the baby had died" he asked. "Objection"my lawyer screamed. "Yes" I answered. "Do you see the man that raped you in court today even though he wasn't the one to kidnap you" he asked and I wouldn't say anything. "Remember miss you are under oath" the judge said looking at me. "I plead the 5th" I said and my lawyer looked at me. "Ok go sit Alex please come up" the judge said and as he passed by me I tripped him. "You freaking monster, you killed my family and I'm the one that has to be in this stupid trial it was you and you know it was just confess" I screamed and the police grabbed me and made me sit back down.

30 minutes later

"Alex is guilty for murder and four counts of kidnapping he will serve 300 years in prison, Tori is guilty for illegal adoption and will serve 15 years in prison" the judge said and all of us were surprised that Tori was going to jail too. We all got into the car and I laid my head on Tyler and cried. I couldn't stop crying thinking about Alex and soon it would be time for me to go against Mike and Charles. I'm still considered a slut and the scar doesn't help that's on my stomach because its proof that it actually happened. I heard police sirens behind us and I sat up in my seat. Brittany pulled over and I was confused. She wasn't speeding or anything. It took a little bit before the police officer actually got out and came over to us. We all made sure our seat belts were buckled and they were. John looked at us because he didn't know what was going on either. "None of you did anything bad did you" he asked us and we all shook our heads no. I was trying to think of something I might have done but I couldn't think of anything illegal. The officer finally came up to the door. "All of you step out of the car" The officer said and we slowly got out. "Zoey and Tyler both of your parents have passed away right" she asked and we shook our heads yes. "Please sit in my car you two" she said and we slowly walked over. "Wait a second what's happening to them" I heard officer John ask her.

"They are being taken to an adoption center"the officer said and I started panicking. "I'll adopt them" Brittany said quickly. "Your home isn't stable enough at the moment sorry ma'am" the officer said and he walked back to the car. "You can't do this to us" I said when she got into the car. "I'm sorry but its the law" she said and she started driving away. "We'll figure this out" Ema texted me
