"Richelle can I talk to you for a minute?" Abi asks, dragging her away from her juice.
"Sure I guess." Richelle replies, even though she pretty much had no choice. As soon as the get to a quiet part of the cafe, Abi takes a deep breath and says, "Do you like Noah?"
Richelle's face instantly turns a deep shade of red as she replies, "What? No!"
Whilst looking at the floor, Abi replies with, "Listen, I know you do. I've seen the way you two look at each other. He doesn't look at me like that. So, I wanted to let you know that I'm ok with this. I want you both to be happy."
"But Abi, won't this make you sad?" Richelle asks.
"Maybe a bit but I have my eye on someone." Abi replies and looks over to Chad.
"Oh Abi you're the bestest friend I could ever ask for!" Richelle sequels and throws her arms around Abi.
"It's ok Richelle." Abi says with a smile.Richelle's expression changed from happy to worried when she thought about something.
"What if he doesn't like me in that way?" She asks, panicking.
"Don't worry, I've seen the way he looks at you. He likes you." Abi says with a smile.
"Well if you're sure!" Richelle says and returns the smile. "But how do I get him to ask me out?"
"I'm going to break up with him, but tell him to get with you. I'm 99.9% sure that he will ask you out so don't worry. I've got this." Abi says and puts her hand on Richelle's shoulder.
"Thank you Abi!" Richelle says and hugs her.
"It's ok, really. I want you to be happy." Abi says as they let go."When should we start the plan?" Richelle asks.
"How about later today?" Abi asks.
"Sounds good." Richelle replies.
"Now let's go back before Noah gets suspicious." Abi says and looks over to Noah.
"Or before he drinks our juices!" Richelle says and goes to get her juice.
Abi follows her with a smile. She did the right thing.
