Classes were starting again in a few weeks, I cringed at the thought as I grabbed my pillow and placed it over my head, trying to get away from the shining light coming from the window. It was early in the morning and Zayn was already at work, meaning I was all alone. I stretched my arms as I struggled to get out of bed, I smiled as I remembered the previous night. I walked over to the kitchen and grabbed a slice of pre cooked pizza and placed it in the microwave. As I waited for it to defrost I scrolled through my phone, looking for any texts.
Chelsea- we need to talk.
I suddenly felt worried, what happened? This is my best friend we are talking about here. I didn't get a chance to think it though before the microwave bell rang, signaling that my pizza was ready. I grabbed the hot pizza and quickly placed it on a plate, not wanting to burn my fingers. I also grabbed a soda from the fridge and started eating. I hated how unhealthy I was, for once I wish I was actually concerned about my health. After eating I quickly replied to the text message, asking Chelsea to come over to talk, it can't be that serious right?
I was watching TV when I heard a knock on the door, must be Chelsea. I opened the door to find my friend gloomy and dull. "Hey, come in." I smiled, gesturing towards the living room. She nodded in reply and took a seat. "So what's wrong?" I asked, taking a seat next to her. "The only reason I'm telling you this is because you are like a sister to me, and you deserve to know. Promise me you won't hate me." She said, looking more serious than ever, which scared me. "I promise." I replied. She silently breathed in and out. "I-I'm pregnant, and the baby belongs to Louis." She whispered, i froze in place. "But you're only twenty, don't you think it's too early?" I finally said. Chelsea was on no position to be a mother yet. "Don't you think i know that?! Louis and I have tried to figure something out and we know abortion and adoption are no choice." She said all under one breath. "Okay, calm down. The first thing you need to do is make sure Louis won't bail when the baby comes." I said, trying to help. This was a whole new situation for me, I can't imagine how I would feel if this was me. "We both promised to stick together, the reason I came to you is because I just wanted to let you know. This is my life now." She stated, looking down on the floor, like she was scared. I softly held her hand, as she looked up. "It will be okay, Louis is an amazing person and I'm sure he will help you though these times." I softly spoke, trying to calm her down. "Thank you, don't tell the others yet, I'm not ready. I should get going now, bye." Chelsea said, trying to form a smile as I opened the front door for her. I wave goodbye as she got in her car and drove away. I was worried sick for Chelsea, how would she tell her parents? How could she forget to use protection?
I heard the front door open and in came Zayn walking in. "Afternoon love." He said with a smile, gently kissing my forehead. He must've gotten the massage I wasn't into it because he backed away a few steps. "Is something wrong?" He asked. "N-no." I replied, unsure of what to do. "I didn't cook anything." I said as he checked the fridge. "Liam and Niall are coming over in a while." Zayn informed as he took out a box of cereal, pouring it onto the bowl. "That's fine, I have an extra shift at work anyways." I replied with a smile. I changed into my work clothing and tied my hair in a simple pony tail, I grabbed my car keys and left. "Bye Zayn." I said with a smile, he smiled back with a mouth full of food. Once I got in the car I started the engine and drove to work, which wasn't that far from home.
