When I See You again (A Gravity Falls fanfiction)

Chapter two: "Catching up."

Wendy's (POV)

When I met Pacifica for the first time, she didn't seem to like me too much. I wasn't totally sure at first, but I had a good idea why. But I couldn't worry about that right now. I have to think about what is best for my baby. Dipper said when it was born he would help me out, until I got back on my feet. Dipper is a really good friend to me, I'm greatful to have him, but I wish I didn't have to live with him just to see him. And I can tell Pacifica feels the same way. When Dipper showed me the guest room, I started to unpack, and layed down to get some rest. I slept for 3 hours until I heard a knock at my bed room door. Then the door opened and I saw Dipper was there. He came in and sat by me.

"Hey Wendy, listen I'm sorry about Pacifica."

"It's okay, if my fiance brought home another girl I would react the same way."

"Thanks for understanding."

"Yeah, and thank you for letting me stay here. I know it's sudden, but I really needed the help."

"Hey, what are friends for?"

I smiled at him and he smiled back. We hugged again before we had into the kitchen for dinner. Pacifica made us chicken and rice for dinner. I had to eat a little more then them because I'm feeding for more than one. Pacifica gave me a weird glare as I ate the extra food. I don't know why through, she knows I'm pregnant. When Pacifica was cleaning the dishes, me and Dipper sat outside and talked. We talked about what we have been doing after the summer in Gravity Falls. We talked about what jobs we have now. I found out he is now a paranormal investigator. I told him that because I got pregnant I had to quit my job. My job was being a explorer before I met my ex boyfriend, and before I got pregnant. Dipper told me that when I give birth, he'll help me with the baby.

"I still can't believe that you're engaged to Pacifica, congress dude."

"Ha, thanks Wendy. But I won't lie, I sometimes think of you when I'm with her. You must think that's dumb huh?"

"Not really, I can relate."

"Really?"

"Yeah, when I was with my ex I sometimes thought of you too man."

"Ha, guess old feelings die hard huh?"

"Yeah, I guess so."

We then headed back inside for the night. Dipper went to bed leaving me and Pacifica alone. We were watching TV for awhile before she turned to me and gave me a weird glare again. I tried to brighten the mood by making small talk.

"So Pacifica, how long have you and Dipper been together?"

"Oh shut up."

"Excuse me?"

"I know what you're doing."

"What am I doing?"

"You're trying to take Dipper away from me."

"I am?"

"Sure, you call him in the middle of the night saying that a imaginary boyfriend dumbed you just so you could see him."

"SAY WHAT?!"

"Then you say that you're pregnant with an imaginary baby, just so Dipper would always be with you, and not me."

"Are you locco in the head?!"

"No, I'm speaking the truth."

"One, I am pregnant."

"Second, if I wasn't dumbed and lost everything, I would have only been here for a visit."

"Uhuh, keep telling yourself that."

"What was uncalled for Pacifica."

"Yeah, so was you coming here!"

I stormed out of the room after that comment. I ran to the bathroom and throw up, because of morning sickness. I don't understand why Pacifica would say those things, I know she's not happy with me being here, but that was just cold. I better tell Dipper this in the morning, I'm know Pacifica might try and say that she never said those things, but I have to try anyway. If she's going to be like this, I'm afraid for my baby, and my self.
