That moment when...

That moment when you pause... Then you realize what you're doing.
You stop and begin to realize Every storm that has been brewing.
Every seed that you've planted is almost done blooming.
The many trees of destruction growing, The molten lave that's fuming.
You realize you're a piece of shit, not a piece of work.
You don't know how to stop it, and pull the trees from the dirt.
You try to grab the roots, ending up with hands full of thorns.
You try to throw out your demons, so they stab you with their horns.
The voices telling you that you're not in the wrong.
That everything you've been doing has been right all along.
Now you're upset and confused, don't know what to do.
You know everyone else but yet you're a stranger to you.
You can give them advice when their life's a wreck.
Then turn around and can't put your life in check.
Just take a step back and mentally detach.
Don't send in backup or call for dispatch.
Find your zen and equalize your center.
And find someone who'll stick with you through the winters.
Reach inside yourself and begin to see that not everything is going to be how you want it to be.
