Ambush

"Aphmau!! Where are you?!"I shouted
"Here Garroth!!"
I went to the direction the voice came from.
I pushed away a few bushes then I saw her.

"Lady-"
"What did I tell you?"
"Sorry,I tend to forget."
"Whut's up?"
"The houses are-"
"Done? Good! I was trying to build a farm in this area,can you make a pathway towards here?"
"Of course L--Aphmau."

I went to our newly-built basement that is under the stairs going up to our room.
I grabbed some stone and gravel when I heard somebody screaming.
I immediately went up to see the man I had a fight with holding a dagger towards Molly's neck.

Oh,God.I forgot about him.

Aphmau then came running towards him.She tore the man's hood to reveal his face.
The man let Molly go then looked straight at me with a smirk.

Zenix.What.I.Thought.You.Were.Dead.

"Zenix!?"I yelled.
Everyone looked at me.
"Garroth,you know this man!?!?"
"Y-Y-"
"You traitor!"
"W-what?!?"

"You know this man!The same man that killed my family!"

"Today's Friday."Zenix then said"Now-where there's smoke,there's fire."
"Not today Zenix!"

I drew my sword and the following hours were followed by sounds of swords clattering,a few groans and screams.
Zenix managed to cut through my arm, and shin but I cut his leg and belly terribly.He let out a scream and disappeared the same way when we first encountered in the ruins after his eyes turned red.

I fell to the ground,felt two people carry me then I don't remember anything else.

Hi guys!! I managed to escape and write this immediately!And yes I did use the famous "Where there's smoke,there's fire."line from Series Of Unfortunate Events.
