Broken-Hearted

Hi guys!
Remember the text thing?
Well I am removing it so that it won't be that much confusing.
I will now start using POV's only in this book series,ok?

Aphmau's POV:

We were eating breakfast in silence, I don't know why,probably because of what happened yesterday or because of the same feeling from yesterday was still here.

"Um,Where did you learn about all of those stuff Garroth?"I said,finally breaking the silence.
"Why do you mean?"He asks me.
"Oh,you know,those stuff about poison,Shadow Knights and potions?"
I say,twirling a piece of my hair.

"Well,I wasn't all just guard training,I go to the library when I have spare time and read about stuff.I know Zenix,Gene and Sasha because they were my friends and classmates in guard training.Zenix was my best friend,we used to eat and train together.And one day,we were walking home together from the guard training academy since we were neighbors and the gaurd training academy was almost 25 kilometers from O'Khasis.We took the shortcut we recently found out about that goes through the forest.I was looking around when someone knocked me out cold.I woke up to find Zenix and me tied to Shadow Knight altars.He was thin though and he slid down the ropes.He helped me escape but when we were just a few meters from our houses,we were ambushed by the same Shadow Knights.Zenix..... sacrificed himself for me.His last words,as his real self,were "Go now!You're way more important then an adopted boy who's real father is the assassin of Lord George of Scaleswind."Garroth said.

"Oh,sorry,I didn't know that Zenix was your best friend."I say,moving my chair closer to his."But Garroth,I just need to ask you...."

Garroth's POV:

Aphmau moves her chair closer to mine.At first,I just blushed slightly ,didn't look at her and continued eating,but she said that she needed to ask me something so I looked up at her,my eyes colliding with her beutiful hazel ones.

Aphmau's POV:

Garroth looked up,his teal-blue eyes looking straight into mine.
"Do you really love me?"I ask.

He drops his spoon at the question and looked away from me.

Garroth's POV:

"Do you really love me?"She asks.

I drop my spoon and look away from her.
'God,ummm,I do need to tell her?I mean,we kissed but she----'I thought.

"Garroth?Are you ok?"Aphmau says.
"Y-yes-s."I stuttered.
"It's fine if you don't wanna talk about ---"
"No,I don't love you as in that love,I love you in the way a friend loves another friend."I say,not thinking about what I just said.

'What the Irene,gosh why did I say that?'I thought.So I look back at Aphmau to find her eyes turning red,I could see that she was just fighting her tears.

"I need to go on patrol now Aphmau, take care,my---"I trailed off at the last thing I was going to say.
"Yea,take care too my-----Garroth."She replies.

Aphmau's POV:

Garroth just went out.I say goodbye and wait for him to be out of my sight before I rushed to stairs,went inside our room and slammed the door shut.

I cry inside of our room.
'I-I am a fool to think that he loves me back.God,Aphmau,you really didn't learn a thing didn't you?I am too awkward and unlady-like for him to even like me.'I thought.

"How would he even love me?"I say to myself so I got out my diary and wrote all of my feelings for him in there,not caring even if the page is stained with my tears.

Garroth's POV:

I was too preoccupied to go on patrol so I asked Oliver,a guard,to take over my patrol.I then head over to the place where I met Aphmau.

Many questions popped inside my head.
So,she likes me?
Is she just pretending?
Is she joking?

But one question stood above the rest.

Did I break her heart?

I then started to cry at the thought of her crying and being heart-broken because of ME.

"I am so sorry Aphmau.I am sorry that I lied.I am sorry."I kept repeating that sentence,placing my head on my knees.

Aphmau's POV:

'So,Garroth doesn't like me.'I wrote in the last line of the page.

But suddenly,one question popped in my head.

If he doesn't like me,then why did he not pull away from the kiss?

I was too preoccupied so I went to the place where we first met.

The Willow Tree.

I went there and saw Garroth.He was-------CRYING?!?
I walked closer,not making any noise, and heard him say.

"I am so sorry Aphmau.I am sorry that I lied.I am sorry."He cried.

I was startled,no,SHOCKED at what he said.

I moved closer,confused that he didn't hear me,sat down next to him and said.....

Hi guys!!
I am feeling that I want to be more......."cliffhangery" and give you time to think about what's going to happen in the next chapter soo....MWAHAHHAHA!!
