Under the Old Willow Tree - Garmau fan fiction

Rose

Aphmau's POV:

As we get in the boat and sail away from the Crazy Cat Island,we arrive to a small,run-down town in a swamp with a small docks.A sign was at the docks that read:

"Tropia"

"What is this place?"Garroth asks Rose.
"It's where my home is."Rose replies with a glum look on her face."I know it's run down and stuff but I am afraid of sailing to the Sea of Souls.It just creeps me out."

I and the rest jump down the boat to the old docks.It cranked and squeaked and our every step and it annoys me.I was near the ground when I stepped on a loose plank,causing it to breaking with a loud CRACK.

I thought I was gonna fall to the depths of the swamp when I felt two hands grab both my arms and try to pull me up. My feet were already in the water and I looked up to see Garroth.

I smiled but he lost hold of my left hand causing me to scream. Rose then came and grabbed my left arm as they both try to push me up. Garroth was already sweating hard as I was pulled to the surface.

Rose almost fell to the water but I caught her. We then continued walking faster towards the ground. When we came to the town I saw That it only had 5 buildings.

3 were small while the other two were huge. There were three guards roaming around the town. No one bothered to pay attention to us as we walked towards Rose' small house that only contained 3 rooms.

One was the living room.
One was the bathroom while the other one was the bed room. Garroth slumped to the couch as Rose prepared biscuits and milk for us.

"You're a great baker!"I exclaim as The biscuits she made melted in my mouth.
"Well,Thanks!"She said smiling.
"I think we could use a baker like you in our town."Garroth said after he drank the milk all in one big gulp.

"Really!!!"She screamed as her ears straighter up,as if it were not believing in what we said.
"Yes."I replied.

Rose then tackled me to a hug when we suddenly heard a knock at the door.
"I'll get it."Rose sheepishly said.

When she opened the door she was greeted by a man that smelled of alcohol. Rose immediately closed the door but the man put his foot at the opening to keep the door from closing.

Garroth then stepped up to the man and told him to leave her alone.The man just pushed him back as Rose drew her emerald dagger and I aimed my arrow towards his heart.

He just went out with a frowned face.
"Who was that guy?"Garroth asked,still on the floor.
"Theo. He always comes here when he's drunk and tries to steal all my bread."Rose replied.

"Ok well then get packing up now cause that's another reason to make me want to have you at my village instead."I said as I lowered my bow and arrow to put them back to their respective places.

"Ok then."Rose replied."But it's getting dark,why don't we stay the night here and get out of this place at morning?" Garroth and I agreed.

Me and Garroth cuddled up at the sofa while Rose slept at her bed after locking the door.

The next day, we were about to take our leave when........,....
