It couldn't be the same car from this morning and from the parking lot at school.
I mean if it was, why would it be in my best friends driveway?

"Briana who's car is that?" I asked pointing to car in front of her house.

"I'm not sure, I've never see it before, probably one of my moms editors from the magazine."
Briana pulled up right behind the black car and put it in park.
"Why do you ask?"

"Oh, no reason, I've just never seen it here before," I lied smoothly as I opened the door and stepped out of the car.

I thought maybe I was just being paranoid. There was no way I could actually have someone following me around, that would be crazy! I should have told her my suspicions, right then and there, but I didn't..

We went into the house taking the garage entrance in the back.
As soon as we walked in, we heard yelling.

"Why would you do that to me, you know how much I hate that scum and his slut!!"

I reconized the womans voice as Brianas mom, and from the sounds of it, she was NOT happy.

"He's still my dad, no matter what he did to you, you can't stop me from seeing my OWN father!"

This voice I was guessing was the voice of Briana's brother, Sebastian. I didn't know he had come back, it had been years since he's been back. His voice seemed different it was deeper, older.

We walked into the living room where the commotion seemed to be coming from.

I immmediately noticed Sebastian who had changed considerably since the last time I saw him.

He was wearing a black V-Neck that hugged his new toned and tanned muscles, green cargo pants that seemed to fit baggy but also fit him perfectly, and a black beanie that held back his golden-brown hair. I hated to say it but dang, he looked good, REALLY good..

Brianas mother straighted her posture and smoothed her hands over her royal blue dress.

"Hello Hazel, I didn't know you were coming over today, how are you?" She walked over to me and gave me a hug and a quick peck on the cheek. Before I could answer she walked out, probably trying to escape this elephant in the room.

Making the elephant even bigger, Sebastian light brown eyes turned to me. "Well isn't it little Hazelnut? Come here!"

Without a second thought I ran into his arms both of us laughing. I had a flashback to when we were kids when Briana would beg me to play dolls with her in her playhouse while I ran with Sebastian around the yard playing pirates and superheroes.

I would always say that I was too grown up for dolls even though I was younger than him.

Briana cleared her throat loudly so we could hear it over our laughter.
"Hello, amazing younger sister over here!"

"Oh, sorry, Bri!" Sebastian let go of me and
just about tackled his younger sister.

"Sebastian, stop!" Briana yelled laughing, struggling on the ground. "You're gonna mess up my hair!"

"I missed you so much little sister!" Sebastian said struggling to kiss Briana's cheek.

Briana pushed him away as hard as she could giggling.
"I didn't know you were coming into town, it's been forever!"

Two years to be exact, he moved to a boarding school his senior year because of "complications" with some students at our school and then took a year to explore the "world"afterwards. More like explore other girls in the world..

"I know! So how have you been? What have you been doing?" I asked walking over to the couch.

"Well you know exploring the world!" He said while massaging his neck, making his biceps bulge. "Which reminds me, I come baring gifts!"

He walked over to her duffle bag that was sitting next to me on the couch and pulled out two wrapped gift boxes.

He handed his sister a pink box and me a turquoise one. Briana ripped the paper off immediately and revealed a beautiful scarf.
"Oh, Sebastian! This is the new Gucci scarf! It just came out two days ago, how did you get it?"

"I have my ways, anything for my little sister," Sebastian gave Bri a kiss on the forehead before sitting next to me on the couch.
"Open yours Hazel."

I looked down at my turquoise box and ripped off the paper to find another turquoise box with the words Tiffany and Co. on the front.

I pulled off the lid and gasped at the sight. In the box sat a beautiful bracelet with a rose gold band with diamonds surrounding one word in the middle, Hazelnut.
"Bash, no, you didn't have to. This is too much."

"Nonsense, I had to make up for missing two birthdays. Look on the inside." Bash said with a huge smile.

I held back tears as I read the inscription.
Always Keep Dreaming 5.4.69

"I know your dad wishes he could've been here for your 18th birthday and so do I. So I just wanted to give you something he would've if he could." He said picking up the bracelet and clasping it around my wrist. "I had to call your mom and ask his birthday because I wasn't sure.

I looked down at the sparkling wonder on my wrist and my breath caught in the back of my throat.
Sebastian clears his throat.
"So, do you like-,"

I grabbed him and pulled him towards me. I wrapped my arms around his huge body as tears flowed slowly down my cheek.
"I love it," I whispered holding back the sobs that threatened to push their way out with a sigh.

Briana brought me some tissue from the bathroom and dabbed the corners of my eyes, careful not to smudge my makeup.

"Thank you so much Bash, really, its amazing." I said wiping my nose.

"Its not problem, anything for my girls." He said kissing my hand.

The he got up and grabbed his keys. "Sorry to cut this short but I have a date."

"Well, nice quality time with the family Bash!" Brian yelled as he walked towards the doors.

"I'll walk you out," I said getting up.

I followed him to the front as the realization finally hit me.
The black car belonged to Sebastian...
