Everything was so cold. I slowly began to open my eyes to see a faint light, shimmering above me. I winced at the sudden light. My body began to fall away from it. I was plummeting deep into the sea.

As I slowly began to gain consciousness, I continued to drift down. Deeper into the dark abyss.

Eventually my feet found a surface. I slowly stood up, on the sea floor. My eyes were taking in the darkness around me, shifting to the dim lighting.

I opened my mouth in awe, quickly realizing that I was underwater. Much to my surprise, no water entered my mouth. I felt dazed. I blankly stared at the sea floor underneath my feet, feeling confused and lost.

"Who are you?" A voice echoed threw my head.

"Who's there?" I quickly responded, taking a sudden step forward.

Light radiated beneath my foot. I covered my eyes with my arms from the blinding light. Doves flew in all directions coming off of the sea floor, leaving trails of feathers behind. They all flew to the surface, leaving this abyss. It was a truly amazing sight.

"So this is your heart?" The voice responded.

"What do you mean?" I asked confused. "Where am I? Why am I here?" I asked slowly, staring back at the white glass beneath my feet.

"This is your heart, Eliza." I shot my head up.

"How do you know my name? What are you?"

"I am memories. And I've been torn, but your light is so pure..."

I looked up to see a ball of light drift down from the surface. It slowly shimmered in front of me. I stared at it, still feeling dazed.

"What happened to you?" I asked, beginning to feel curious.

"I was unnecessary. Useless memories for a nobody." It explained with a tone of sadness.

"No memories are useless, they make us who we are." The ball quickly began to hover around my body. It then stopped in front of me again.

"Can I stay with you?" The voice asked with slight hope.

"Of course." I agreed with a nod, not entirely sure what it meant. The ball then came up to me, face to face.

"Though I am unnecessary, I'm not useless. I am the memories of someone very important. Consuming me is a great responsibility. Are you okay with this?"

I smiled with a nod.

Lifting my hands, I cupped the shimmering ball of light, leading it towards my body. The ball then dissolved into my chest. My body began to glow. I lifted my hands to examine them. Everything felt warm.

I closed my eye to enjoy this wonderful feeling, lowering my hands to my sides. My body began to feel light. I shot my eyes open to see my body hovering above the white glass that was beneath me.

I reached my hand out in hesitation, trying to reach the white glass I was standing on. It was more of a reflex, thinking it'd help get me back to the bottom. Instead, a white light formed at the palm of my extended hand and shot out at the glass beneath me.

My body then stopped glowing. The light shattered the glass, revealing a new layer.

Blue stained glass was glowing, with the figure of a spiky haired boy holding some kind of sword. There were patterns behind the boy, showing faces of people I've never seen before. Yet somehow, they all looked familiar. Especially that sword. It was oddly shaped, it looked like a key.

My body then began to fall back down. My feet perfectly landed on the glass. I knelt down and rested my hand on the stained glass. Its cool surface spread tingles all over my palm.

"The time has come, Eliza. Are you ready?"

"I don't think I understand," I explained, now standing up straight.

"A journey lies ahead of you, will you be able to handle it?"

I then looked up at the surface of the water. "Of course," I said with a smile. Light then radiated from the surface.
