Description:
It was the Fourth of July in a small town in North Carolina. Fireworks were going off, drinks were up in the air, and everyone was happy. Kisses were being shared between lovers and smiles were evident upon hundreds of faces.
When six friends are heading home from the beach, everything turns around for them when they accidentally hit a man in the middle of the road. Afraid of getting in trouble, they decide to dispose his body into the ocean. After disposing the body, they make a pact to never mention what happened that night.
A year later, strange things start happening to the six friends when one receives a letter saying, "I know what you did last summer" in red writing.
Determined to find out who is doing this and why, the teens set out on a mission to erase what happened that night for good. Can they do it?
