THIS JEALOUSY WON'T GET THE BEST OF ME.Seasons and days went by with the wind. We graduated, Vik and I, and summer came around. Which means in the next few months we'll be in college. That means I'll be flying to Australia, and Vik will be going back to England to stay with his group of friends that he's known since primary school. It's pretty exciting to know I get to see my family after years of not being able to see them.
I glanced up from the rough draft paper I was currently writing, tapping my pencil against my cheek. Skype's ringing interrupted my thoughts, I looked towards the direction of it seeing a call from Vik. A smile formed on my face and I plugged my headphones, setting them on my ears as I clicked the answer call.
"Hey lovely." My heart began to pound as I realized how thick his accent was starting to get. He'd only spent a month in England, how can it grow that much?
"Hey Vikky." I smiled slightly towards the webcam, which he returned.
"What are you up to?"
"What are you doing up?"
"I couldn't sleep." He mumbled, his cheeks lighting up. "Didn't have you here."
"I have a report to do about soulmates." I blew him a kiss.
He raised an eyebrow, his cheeks hinted at a color even darker than before. I grinned in his direction and shook my head at his adorableness.
"So when is summer break for you?"
"Summer break Lachlan? School started a month ago!"
"I know, I know. I miss you though."
"I miss you too."
After a while of comfortable silence between us, he spoke up again.
"Are you coming up during fall break?"
I nod, and smile slightly. "Yeah, but I wish you could live here with me."
"But-"
"Yes I know, you were planning on going to England since before you met me."
"I'm glad I met you though."
"I love you."
"Love you too."
A comfortable silence fell between us, and I watched happily and Vik sketched on his drawing tablet.
How did I get someone so perfect?

THE STARS, THEY'LL GUIDE ME HOME."Hey, Lachlan?"
I watch as he looks up, pencil in the middle of writing a word. I suck in a breathe, biting my lip.
"Yes doll?"
I smile at the nickname, "Have you ever considered.. Have you ever considered moving in together? Because I'm studying 4 years here and I would love to either transfer somewhere in Australia or you could transfer here."
"Of course I've considered it, we've been soulmates for nearly 3 years now."
"Would.. Would you like to move in with me?"
He grinned, shaking his head and laughing gently.
"I would be honored."
"I really do love you."
"I love you too."
The blonde sighed softly, glancing down at his paper. "I still have this paper I have to do."
"Well, do it."
He let out a whine, putting his face in his arms. "I don't wannnnna."
"Just do it."
"Calm down there Shia."
I smiled, glancing down at my drawing tablet and then up at my second monitor.
I was staying with a few pals, Simon, Jide, and Josh. I've known them since primary school and we kept in touch via skype. And just like I predicted, Simon and Josh became soulmates. JJ hasn't met his yet, he has a few years. He isn't as lucky as some of us.
A comfortable silence drifted between Lachlan and I, himself writing and I doodling on Paint Tool Sai. I heard a loud crash from downstairs, and a series of curses and shouts.
"Lachlan, I'll be back."
"Noo, don't leave."
"I think Si and JJ are killing each other, I'll be back. I promise."
He nods, and I set my tablet down. Adjusting my glasses, seeing as I didn't have my contacts in, I shut the door to my room quickly and made my way down stairs.
The sight I saw was truely hilarious, JJ had Simon pinned to the ground, sitting on his stomach. Simon was as red as a tomato and Josh was laughing his ass off. I laugh, quite loudly my I add, and JJ gives me a grin.
"Vik! Help me, he's going to kill me!"
I shook my head, walking over and pushing JJ off his stomach. "No kids, no rough housing. Daddy's talking to poppa right now."
My statement resulted in Josh to wheeze, no noises left his mouth as he laughed so hard that his face was nearly blue.
After a moment he snorted, and spoke. "M-My prince did come and his name is d-daddy."
"Did you mean: Me?"
"Uhm, pretty sure Josh is the most daddy here."
"JIDE."
He put his hands up in defense, grinning. I chuckled under my breath, a soft yawn leaving me considering it was 3 am. I shook my head, telling the guy's goodnight and walking back upstairs to my set up. Lachlan looked concentrated on his work, and I sat in my computer chair.
"Hey baby."
He looked up and smiled, which I returned. "Hey Vikky, what was going on?"
"The guys being assholes. You working?"
He nods, "Almost done with the rough draft."
Another tired yawn left my lips, and he squinted towards me. A concerned look forming on his face.
"Sleep."
"But-"
"-You're not here, I know. Sleep."
I pout, and he says something about ending the call.
"I'll be here when you wake up, sleep."
"Fine."
