In the manor of Capulet now, Paris (a highly respected man in town) and Mr. Capulet converse.

Paris, a model in town, knocked on the large oak door of the Capulet Manor. He waited one minute, then he rang the doorbell juxtaposed to the door frame. He stood impatiently tapping his perfectly manicured nails on his gold Rolex watch.

A minute later, the door opened to a grey haired man about five-foot-ten. This man had a chiseled face, though grey haired with hardened eyes. He seemed as though he had been stressed a lot recently. He blinked his tired eyes as if doing a double take. Recognizing the young man standing in front of him, his face lit up with a warm smile.
"Paris! How nice it is to see you!" He exclaimed. Eyeing the gold watch adorning his wrist, he added with another knowing smile, "I see the modeling has been treating you well lately?"
"Yes sir it has. And it is quite a treat to see you Mr. Capulet! How is your lovely family? And Juliet? She's grown, I must assume." He stated with an award-winning charm.

Mr. Capulet chuckled. "My family is doing quite well. And Juliet has certainly grown. She isn't quite the young girl she was when you saw her last. Oh they grow too fast." He gazed off remembering how she had been just a small child not so long ago.
"Lovely." Replied Paris, "I was hoping I might come in and talk to you?" He suggested pointing towards the large sitting room through the door.
"Of course! Silly me! Come in and sit down!" Mr. Capulet gestured towards the two large brown velvet sofas accompanying a glass coffee table in the center of the room. "Now, the talk is about Juliet, I gather?"

Paris nodded, flashing another charming smile, whilst sitting down across from Mr. Capulet. "I have put quite some thought into this matter. You see, I have been given a three year modeling opportunity in France. I would have to leave by this June, three months from now, and I need someone to accompany me. It gets awful lonely on only the two week trips. I couldn't bear three years of it. I want to extend an offer for Juliet to join me. I know it is a lot to ask, but I love her, and I want her to be mine. I truly hope you see what I mean. Maybe she could get her own modeling gig out there. She certainly has the figure for it, I could-"

Mr. Capulet interrupted Paris with a finger lifted into the air. Pausing to choose his words with precision, he explained, "I don't think that's feasible. Juliet is only sixteen, and three years without her parents? That is quite a long time. And the cost, I'm sure we could cover, but does she want to go? Have you asked her? I of course would have to consult Mrs. Capulet, so it is currently out of the question. I do hate to say so, but she's just so young! I want you to date her more, if of course she wishes, and within two months, come ask again. I, in fact, could host a party in her honor to see whom she chooses to date. Until then, I say no."

With an understanding nod, Paris spoke, "I completely understand. I do wish that she would like to join me. Thank you for your time, Mr. Capulet."

And with that, he shook Mr. Capulet's hand and exited the large oak door.
