About half an hour after the assembly...

Ahri opened the door of the girls' locker room and stepped into the vast pool area. The sun shone brightly through the glass dome above and warmed the atmosphere, creating a beach-like environment. The warm air made Ahri's skin tingle, and she felt relaxed from the feeling.

"Ahhh... Such a nice day..." Ahri said.

Ahri walked along the poolside and gazed around the huge indoor pool of the campus. Palm trees dotted the grounds, beach chairs were lined up next to each other on the sand, and champions and summoners were having fun together. The Yordles were splashing around in the pool and building (and destroying) sand castles. Many of the female champions were either relaxing on the chairs or on the sand , in the pool feeling refreshed, or just walking along the shore talking to one another while most of the male champions were swimming, by the vendor's stand, or playing volleyball. A select few were sitting under the shade of beach umbrellas and palm trees.

Ahri noticed a couple of her guy friends by the vendor's stand and walked over to join them. Sitting on the stools in front were Yasuo, Zed, and Xin Zhao, all drinking fruit smoothies.

Yasuo slammed his cup down on the countertop of the bar. "Hey Lee Sin, I'll take another one of those smoothies. They're so damn good!"

"Coming right up!" Lee Sin said. He then took a couple of fruits, chopped them in half with his hand, and kicked them into the blender and turned it on. After it was done blending, Lee Sin put some toppings on it, inserted straws and spoons, and served the smoothies to his customers.

"Thanks," Yasuo said. Lee Sin just nodded and prepared more ingredients.

Yasuo took a sip of his smoothie and said, "Ahhh... Well, at least they gave us today to relax and whatever. What do you guys plan on doing?"

Zed just stared at the countertop and mindlessly sipped his drink. He didn't feel comfortable being in surfer shorts only. He felt vulnerable, and wanted to be in his normal combat outfit. Xin Zhao, on the other hand, gave his input.

"Well, I really don't have anything else to do today. I guess I'll just go train in the combat arena later."

Yasuo looked at Xin Zhao with a slightly unpleased face and put an arm on his shoulder. "Come on, Xin. This is your last day to enjoy life before classes start. Enjoy it while you can, like how I'm enjoying this drink." Yasuo then took a short look at his drink and took a sip.

Ahri came up behind Yasuo and hugged him from behind. One of her nine fluffy tails swept across Yasuo's cheek, while another few rested on his shoulders and lap. Zed's trance broke, as he looked over in confusion as to what just occurred. Meanwhile, Xin stood up, gave his ID to Lee Sin to pay, and left with smoothie in hand.

"Hello there, Yasuo," Ahri said teasingly, with a small giggle following. Yasuo just sat silently as if nothing happened, trying very hard to resist. Now Yasuo was the one staring blankly onto the countertop.

Ahri giggled a little more and said, "What, Yasuo, don't you trust me?" Yasuo was trying very hard not to respond, but the tone of Ahri's voice and the softness of her tails was pulling his focus further away from resistance. Yasuo and Ahri were childhood friends, so he was just messing with her, but he wasn't showing it. Zed was still confused at what he was witnessing, and shadow traveled away, leaving a shadow clone behind in the seat.

Yasuo scoffed, and said, "Are you done yet?"

Ahri replied, saying, "Well, let's have some real fu-"

Yasuo spun around in his chair and hugged Ahri back. After doing so, he looked at her and asked, "So, how have you been?" Yasuo then offered Ahri his drink.

Ahri took the cold drink into her hands and replied, "Just enjoying these last few moments of freedom before tomorrow arrives. Where did your friend, uh, Zed go?"

"He's right there."

Zed was back, sitting in his chair with another person hovering by his side. Ahri looked over, and recognized Zed's partner immediately.

"Syndra? Is that you?" Ahri asked excitedly.

"Ohmigosh! Ahri! It's been forever!" Syndra replied with happiness. Syndra's orbs danced around her excitedly as well in reaction.

Both girls embraced each other, and began talking to one another. The two girls completely forgot about Yasuo and Zed. Yasuo slid over one seat next to Zed, and started some small talk by asking him, "So Zed... You and Syndra?"

Zed looked over at Yasuo and laughed nervously. He scratched his head and replied, "Yeah... We're together."

Yasuo smiled lightly and put a hand on Zed's shoulder and shook him a little bit. "Hey, congrats."

Zed turned away and said "thanks" in a monotone voice. Yasuo paid for his drinks, got up and said, "Hey, let's walk."

The 4 students walked along the side of the pool, passing by the other champions and summoners. The sand was warm under their feet. Yasuo waved and said hello to anyone who called him out while Ahri and Syndra were walking side by side ahead of the boys, catching up with each other. Zed just kept pace silently. Then, out of nowhere, someone yelled, "Heads up!" Yasuo and Zed reacted instantly; Yasuo dashed away and Zed summoned a shadow clone and swapped places with it. However, Ahri and Syndra weren't as quick. Both were knocked off balance by a blur, and 3 splashes were heard. Ahri and Syndra surfaced, along with a boy with dark skin and white hair.

Ahri and Syndra stared annoyed at the boy, and he just said nervously, "Hey. Next time, don't blink."

Yasuo and Zed helped Ahri and Syndra out of the pool, and brought over towels for them to dry off.

"Who was that?" Ahri questioned.

"Ekko," Zed answered in a monotone voice once again.

Yasuo tried to ease tensions by saying, "Hey, forget about it. Just enjoy the rest of today. Just some accident, that's all." Yasuo smiled softly at everyone.
