Erza walked out and looked at the guild full of dressed up teammates. "Everyone looked great." Jellal was wearing a simple blue suit and black tie, Gajeel was wearing his normal everyday clothing, Levy was wearing a orange dress with ruffles on the top, Gray was in a blue, white, and gold suit, the white and gold was the pattern, Juvia was in a light blue dress with white and blue polka dot trimming, with a pale blue and light blue hat. Natsu was in a simple white shirt and red suit jacket, his scarf and black pants. Erza was in a pink dress, she had a pearl necklace and a pearl head band.
"Can we go to this stupid thing so I can fight?" Natsu yelled.
Erza laughed and took Jellal's hand. "Let's go get on the carriage." Everyone cheered, except Natsu. He was being dragged the Gray.
The whole time Natsu was complaining about being sick. Juvia was taking about how handsome Gray was. Erza and Jellal were talking. And everyone else was carrying on as normal as possible. When the carriage stopped Natsu jumped out and looked mad. "I can smell Lucy." He said. The whole guild got upset faces.
"Everyone better be on their best behavior tonight or you'll deal with me when we get home. Natsu that means you too." Erza stated. Natsu just turned away and started to walk inside.
"Now that every guild is here. The two competing guilds are FairyTail and Phantom Lord. The people representing these guilds: Lucy Heartfilia of Phantom and Natsu Dragneel of FairyTail."
Lucy looked around and caught eyes with Gray. She took Totomaru's hand and walked towards them.
Erza looked to her. "Everyone stay calm. Remember she's full of anger."
"Well hello FairyTail." She smiled brightly. "I'm happy I get to participate with you tonight. It should be fun." She looked at Gray again. "Just be happy it's not you. Remember what happen in our last fight?" She giggled a bit and Totomaru just smirked.
"None of you stand a chance against my Lucy!" He stated.
"Your Lucy?" Levy asked. "Are y'all together?"
"Yes Levy. We are. I see you and Gajeel are together too. That's great. I'm happy for you." She gave her a real smile. She still loves Levy as a best friend.
"The ice princess couldn't beat you, but I will. You'll see." Natsu said.
Lucy looked over to him and smiled. "I'm happy you have confidence. Does this mean you won't be holding back?"
"Not in the slightest." He gave a smile and a blush. "You look so beautiful ya know?" His blush grew. "I just want to hug ya."
Lucy had a faint blush but she turned. "Sorry Natsu. I already have someone." She took his hand and they went to the middle and started dancing. Lucy smiling and having a blast made Natsu angry.
"Natsu she's just trying to get at you. Clam down." Erza said and then went to dance with Jellal. Everyone was dancing except Natsu.
"Natsu I know I'm not your choice of women......but wouldn't you dance with me?" Melain asked. Natsu nodded and went to the dance floor with her. Every time he would turn his back to Lucy, Melain would give her an 'I won' smirk.
