The Best Kind Of Love

I felt Liam hovering over my shoulder, and I glanced up at him.
"Do you want to put that one in your binder too? It might help," he suggested.
"Yeah maybe I will. That's a great idea thank you," I responded after a minute or so.
When we got home, I set the letter on the counter, and offered to make Liam dinner, it was getting late after all, and the pink light that shone in the sky was reflecting into the lake, making the waves seem like they were dancing to the lovely sounds of nature.
I got out the eggs and milk and seasonings, and began to mix them in a bowl. I then decided that it was too quiet, and put on my favorite band, Breaking Benjamin. I started to dance as I pored the egg mixture into a pan and set the stove on high.
I heard Liam's lighthearted laugh, and I noticed how happy I was, and I realized that I really was falling hard for him.
As he was looking at the lake, I stole a glance at him. He looked so gorgeous in the dim light. And he was mine.

After we finished eating, we raced down the stairs and into my room like children, trying to see who was the fastest. Only after racing all the way there, we both realized that we had forgotten the letter, and Liam volunteered to go grab it. As I heard him walk up the stairs, I grabbed the binder that would soon be the letter's home.
Liam was handling this all really well, and I was lucky to have him. I still couldn't believe that I couldn't quite remember him from my childhood, but I guess it was okay. I was only five after all.
When he came back down, he grasped the letter in his hand and held it out for me. I grabbed it and nicely set it in the binder, behind all of the old memories.
I suddenly became really tired, and motioned for him to lay down on the bed with me. I cuddled up beside him, and let out a yawn.
"Do you want me to stay?" He asked, his voice sounding surprisingly light.
"Of course. Just don't wake me up with your snoring or I'll kick you off the bed," I replied before drifting off to sleep.

The next morning, Liam was still right beside me, snoring away. Ugh this is the only annoying thing about him. As much as I wanted to push him off of the bed, I didn't. Instead, I quietly got off of the bed and went into the bathroom, and started to get ready for work.
I put on some light makeup, just enough to outline my face and some mascara to bring out the color of my eyes.
I brushed my long blonde hair and twisted it into a cute messy bun. It was the best messy bun I've even managed to create.
I heard the door open and Liam hugged me from behind. I laughed quietly and turned my head to kiss him on the cheek.
"I have to go to work..." I sighed out, while pushing Liam away from me. He was so gorgeous... And distracting..
"Hmm or you could stay here with me and we could cuddle and watch t.v," Liam suggested while wiggling his eyebrows. I laughed and threw a pillow at him.
"Hmm let me think... Ah yes I know... No."
"Wow such a tease."
"I was just kidding. I would love to spend the day with you. I worked enough overtime the past few weeks to get away with missing today," I stated before grabbing the pillow I had flung at him and then jumped on the bed.
We spent the day eating cake and sweet candy, and watching my favorite shows on Netflix. The shows that topped the list were Supernatural, Doctor Who, Sherlock, and Merlin.
We were watching an episode of Merlin, and as Merlin's eyes flashed the gold color, Liam started tickling me. I squealed from excitement of both of those things combined.
I did a pouty sound and got off the bed and went upstairs. Papa was sitting on the couch, lacing up his shoes.
     "Hi Bella. Is Liam here?"
     "Yeah, where are you going?"
"I was going to go golfing, do you and Liam want to come?"
"Yeah! That sounds like fun. Just let us go get ready."

It turned out that Liam had no idea how to play golf, so Papa and I spent most of the time trying to teach him how to play.
"It's all in the hips!" Papa said for the hundredth time. I sighed quietly so they couldn't hear me.
When Papa turned his back, Liam winked at me, and started to move his hips in a obnoxious way and I tried so very hard to not start laughing.
I finally lost self control and started laughing out loud and when Papa turned back around, Liam pretended to be concentrating on the golf ball.

A few weeks later Liam and I decided to go out to eat that night. We went to the city that was about an hour away from Harrison. I loved the drive to Coeur d'alene, and I always stuck my hand out of the window as the car went around all of the mountains, following the lake.
I remembered the time that Grandma and I had gotten to ride in a helicopter, and I laughed as I told him about it. He responded with a light laugh and grabbed my hand and squeezed it lightly, and we stayed hand in hand almost the entire time until we got back home.
Liam said that he had to stay at his place for a few nights, because his grandma was starting to miss him. And honestly, I needed some alone time. It had been a while since I last got a letter from Blue, so I decided to go check and see if I had somehow gotten one. And I was right.

Bella,
Hey, it's me again. Things have been getting better, and I found out I'll be able to go home in a few months. Just a few months! I miss being near you, and I hope that you don't hate me. It hurts that you aren't responding to my letters but I suppose that's what I deserve. I hope that you will write me back this time, and I hope that your life is going well. Well, I should go... Let the stars guide the way.
Love,
Blue
