Like every morning that occurs, the fragrance of these beautiful flowers smell is as similar to the kiss of the early morning sun on the face of the waking earth. Yet, he never fails me in selling these beauties to the customers who appreciate them.

"Morning Midori! Are you here for your usual batch?" the owner asked with a smile.

"Hm...I did but you have a new flower there..." you replied looking "A lotus..."

"Hm, peculiar eye as always..." the owner replied, "Not many of my customers notice this flower among my roses."

This lotus is different, it is white as snow and still young. Typically, a lotus flower is under water, making its home in lakes and ponds in areas where the water remains fairly still on the surface. But underneath the surface, the lotus is surrounded by mud and muck and by fish, by insects, and simply dirty, rough conditions Despite these conditions, a lotus flower maintains strength, and pushes aside each of these dirty obstacles as it makes its way to clearer surfaces. At this time, the lotus is still just a stem with only a few leaves, and a small flower pod. But in time, the stem continues to grow, and the pod slowly surfaces above the water, into the clean air, finally freeing itself from the harsh life conditions below. It is then that the lotus slowly opens each beautiful petal to the sun, basking in the worldly beauty surrounding it.

"I think this flower best defines you, Midori- it is possible that something from your past may cross your path again and trigger your awakening, spiritual growth, and enlightenment. Though you are the goddess of creation, there is many things you still need to learn about the world below."

"I remember I opened my mind to those thoughts but it was when I did that...love took everything away from me."

"It is time you push the past aside and move on through life besides you still have one person left who cares for you until the end of time and many others who worship you."

"I guess the path of redemption is a must for me," you replied with a small smile on your face.

"Yes, now awaken!"

You opened your jade eyes and turned your head towards your friend who kept yapping away while you played with your pen and leaned against your arm.

"Come on Midori, let's go! We have class in 45 minutes!" yelled your friend as she grabbed your arm, dragging you across the school yard.

"H-Hey!" you yelled trying to catch up with her pulling your arm to your class.

"Hiyori!" yelled someone.

You looked as you passed by the girl with long dark brown hair and dark magenta eyes responded. However, something about her was different...

"Jump into the street again and I'll smack you with-"

"Yo, Midori! We made it with 2 minutes to spare!" yelled your friend.

"Mhm," you replied smiling.

You noticed everyone in the hallway looking at your both and began gossiping which was the norm. Your friend tsked and getting irrate to which you placed your hand on her shoulder and smiled to reassure her.

"Aiko, it isn't worth the energy," you replied.

"I guess you are righ-"

"Woah, Hiyori!" yelled a person.

Both you and Aiko turned and looked to see the girl falling forward, her eyes started to droop.

"S-Sorry..." she replied "I suddenly get really drowsy sometimes..."

As the class doors opened Aiko pulled your arm as you looked towards the girl as she gave her explanation. Aiko dragged you to the back and took her seat right beside your desk.

"Midori-sama, something is off with that soul..." Aiko whispered.

"I know Aiko, she seems to be at the border of life and death," you muttered back "We need to track her to find out why..."

Aiko nodded as she turned forward as the teacher entered the class and proceeded onwards with the lesson of physics.

Cosmetologist Edward Harrison once said: "Here is the cosmological proof of the existence of God - the design argument of Paley - updated and refurbished. The fine-tuning of the universe provides prima facie evidence of deistic design. Take your choice: blind chance that requires multitudes of universes or design that requires only one..... Many scientists, when they admit their views, incline toward the teleological or design argument."

As class soon proceeded to get out you walked out with Aiko and noticed a flyer for a cat..."Milord..."

"That cat is always escaping from its master..makes me wonder how is the master treating the cat?"

"Something is not right in this town..." you replied "We have to do a night patrol."

"Yes, my lady"

"Let's go home." you said walking up the stairs to your shrine with Aiko running circles around you as you laughed at her childish behavior and smiled.

---

The sun's completing its tour for the day and has now been replaced by myriad stars, which dotted the inky canopy. A low, waning gibbous moon hovered tenuously in the twilight firmament. Thousands of them infiltrated the night sky.

"Come, Amateru!" you yelled as Aiko glowed into a bright light and formed herself into 20m long rod. "Protrude!"

Her blade formed out into a scythe, with those neighboring phantoms coming in contact with it, instantly rending. You ducked as the phantom swiped it's giant paw at you. You then charged straight fro the phantom once again, and got a good swing into its flesh. The phantom let out a groan of pain before swiping at you once more.

"You guys seems to forget the purpose, pathetic." you said swiping at the phanton and slicing the phantom directly in half.

"Good job, Aiko." You said as you allowed for Aiko to escape your hand and turn back into her form.

"What about the other phantoms, my lady?" Aiko replied.

"They will not show their presence because they know who I am," you replied "But be prepared, because I have a feeling that other gods will try to come in contact with us."

"Hmm...exactly what is our objective of leaving Far Shore, my lady?"

"The primary objective: protect my creations from those who lower to their sicken desires and wants from near-shore and the prevent them from coming in contact with the god of war."
