"What is the difference between a god and phantom?"

"Well Aiko, a god is created from a wish where as phantoms are born from people with corrupted souls. When they are possessed by a phantom they lose their sense of who they were and what they are about...they lack the judgement skills of crossing boundaries that shouldn't be crossed and only find the pleasure of a living hell."

"Oh..." Aiko thought.

"It is because individuals have problems in their daily living that they pray to gods for guidance and be being one of the first gods: the goddess of creation-I often get called the most for jobs, but since I am from Far shore and I am required to stay there most of the time, I have to have minor gods handle it."

You took the cup to your lips and began drinking come tea and looking out the window to see society going along its merry way, until a green blob-like phantom caught your interest.

"Aiko, let's go!" you said leaving the money on the table and running out of shop and followed the phantom as it seemed determined to go after something.

You both followed in pursuit to see that it was interested in that girl--the same girl from school, Hiyori.

She soon stops running with the Phantom looking down at her as she pulls out her cellphone and begins to make a call.

"What the heck is she thinking?" asked Aiko as she looked down in shock.

"Shhs!" you said as you attempt to hear what she was calling about.

"I've found an R-Regalia for you, actually..." she replied.

"Regalia...how does she know about that?"  you thought.

Instantly a bright light came and appeared a man. A young man in his early twenties wearing a  navy jersey with a white undershirt, along with a small gold crown on the right side of his jersey, a tattered, faded white scarf tied around his neck and a pair of brown leather boots. Those bluish hair and striking blue eyes with cat-like pupils gave him away...this was Yato, the man I hate dearly.

"Wh-What do you think of him?" asked Hiyori.

"Reg..a...lia.." the phantom replied.

"Oh gawd!" yelled Aiko out of laughter as she cracked up attracting the attention of the phantom towards us and making it way towards me to which it attempted to attack, only to miss and slammed into the ground by Aiko.

You reappeared near Aiko and looked at the phantom slowly rising up. You turned to see Yato looking towards me in shock with the woman just in awe.

"Aiko...we are leaving." you replied walking past the two until you stopped and smiled at Hiyori "Good luck with it Ms. Hiyori-make sure you run as fast as you can and try not to get your tail bitten off."

You grabbed Aiko and disappeared only to hear Yato yell for you.

"Wait! M-Midori!" Yato yelled as he began to run with Hiyori from the phantom.

------

You reappeared with Aiko near a subway track and sighed in relief.

"You think that was wise my lady, I mean you left Hiyori with that guy?"

"I am not helping Yato," you replied, "Now I know why she was interesting to begin with...she is at the brink of life and death."

"Hm..."

"Phew!" yelled a voice.

You noticed Hiyori stopping to catch her breath and noticed that Yato was next to her holding his hand.

"Your hand, it's not looking do good," Hiyori said. "Are you o--?"

"I'm fine." Yato started "Don't touch me. It'll blight you, too."

"Blight?"

"It's a kind of defilement, that will  spread," Yato said. "And unless you exorcise or cleanse it, it'll stay there and eat away at you."

"Oh..." Hiyori said, "What did Midori say about my tail...and why can she see the phantom?"

"That ain't a tail," Yato began "It's a lifeline that connects your physical and ethereal forms. Midori warned you because if that gets cut off, then you will die."

"Let's go!" you replied running away the moment you caught sight of the beast with Aiko behind. You looked backed to also see Yato and Hiyori running in pursuit.

"Midori!" Yato yelled once again as you ignored his call and continue to run with Aiko until you stopped and looked towards two souls, regalias.

"Aiko, wait!" you replied as Aiko skidded in her tracks as you came close to see a small soul near by.

"A baby boy..." you thought as you walked towards it and pointed your finger out to it. "You, with nowhere to go and nowhere to return...I grant you a place to belong. My name is Midori, Goddess of Creation. Bearing a posthumous name, you shall remain here. With this name, I make thee my child. With this name and its alternate, I use my life to make thee a Regalia, that can follow if he so chooses. Thou art, Ichi! As Regalia, Rei! Come, Mugen!"

The name appeared on the soul as the soul disappeared and transformed into a giant halberd.

"Midori-sama..." Aiko muttered as she looked in shock.

You turned your attention somewhere else  and noticed Yato giving a name to the other regalia and fighting toe to toe with the phantom as you soon shift your eyes else where and noticed Hiyori looking towards you in shock.

"Aiko, let's not waste any more time here." you replied as you walked off with Aiko following.

"My lady, you are crying?" Aiko said in shock, especially at the fact that you rarely ever cry.

"This child has an unfortunate cause of death." you replied walking off "Especially someone who only got to taste the world of the living for only two years."

" Hm," Aiko said looking towards the blade in sadness.

"Let's make his life worth living with us by his side," you replied.

"Okay, my lady," Aiko replied, "But what about that guy?"

"That guy's name is Yato, The God of War. You can say, in the terms of the living, he and I were married at one point in time, but he commited a cardinal sin when he killed me to prevent the idea of creation to thrive."

"W-Wha..." Aiko said in shock.

"Aiko, the opposite of war isn't peace, it's creation..." you replied. "He and I should have never met."
