Chapter eighteen: Surprise

Cara's POV
I woke up with a gasp. And then the crying started. Was none of that really real? How? How could it all be a part of my imagination?
I woke up by someone shaking me. I opened my eyes to a wet face and Cam standing over me with a concerned look on his face. I was so happy to see him that I pulled him into a hug and bawled into his shoulder. When he asked what was wrong I stuttered a bunch of stuff about a nightmare and how I had never met any of them in the dream. He comforted me and rubbed my back.
Later that day Mark came over to hang out with me. Everyone else was busy and I was bored. I wasn't going to forget what he did to Jess. However, she wasn't going to be here so it would be fine. When the doorbell rang I walked slowly to the door and opened it. The second I tried to say hi he pushed me up against a wall and gently kissed me. He pulled away quickly and blushed, looking at the floor and back at me. Then he said something I never thought I would here...
