I've tried to write a poem for you
But somehow the words didn't come through
I believed in fairy tale love but now realized it's not true
Maybe my love for you would stay
Or maybe it would fade away
I'm happy that we aren't in a relationship
Your heart is already taken maybe it's not
But it would never belong to me
For me that's fine, well not really
But I think I'll get through it
I don't need your excuses
You had a choice but you decided to play with my emotions
To shatter my heart and break me
I should've known better
See through your false words
I really wished it would've been you and I
But some wishes don't come through and some dreams die
There aren't many words to tell you how I feel
So consider this as me telling you
You are finally free.........
