Dear Black and White persons

Racism is getting higher
We are no longer birds of one feather
Wasn't slavery and the black uprising enough
Maybe we never learned to love
Why all the discrimination and hate
Different colour skin yes
Does that mean we are different not really
There's red blood running through all our veins

Blood and dead bodies
Chains and cuffs
When will we learn?
Shooting of unarmed men
Do you hate them that much?
I thank all those who have different skin colour
And still treats each other as equals
I'm tired of being silenced
Someone needs to remind people of history
Haven't we all of us suffered enough?

How much blood do you want to spill
How much lives do you want to take?
You talk bad about criminals
But the moment you kill one another
You became criminal
Do you think you're doing the world a favour?
Well you're wrong all they wanted was to be accepted
But because of their skin colour
You took a gun or knife
And ended their life's

One by one we fall
A mother just lost her child
A sister just lost her brother
A child just lost their parent
The bad thing is we did nothing
The man laying in the road was trying to help his patient
The boy standing there he said he's unarmed and begged for you to stop shooting
I'm just a kid you'll say
But what kind of future will I have if you keep killing each other
I don't care who you are
If you are a person of the law
If you are part of the government
If you are an ordinary person
It gives you no right to kill

Just because you hate their colour
We don't support the wrong
Even from "our kind"
But when you're killing innocent people
Even the youths would stand up
Racism is a plague
Shame on those who turn on those of different colour but more shame on those who turn on their own colour
