"Courtney. Courtney" someone asks me shaking me awake.
"Huh?"
"Are you okay? You came into the house really upset. Why?"Riker asks.
"Oh!" I say "I... Um... I was thinking I'm sorry if I scared you Rike."
"You didn't just scare Rike, you cared everyone. Rike, Delly, Ell, Ry, Laura, Nessa, Savannah and I" Rocky says.
"I'm sorry you guys."
"Just don't do it again Court" Laura says "please" I nod. They leave me alone until I get up and head to the living room. "What are you humming?"
"Um..." I hum so I know about it. "It's... It's Ross and my song" I say. "I have it stuck in my head"
"Oh" its all Laura says. I can't remember why or how I got it stuck in my head. I go back to last night on the beach, the guitar playing. That's where I got it in my head.
"Ross Shor Lynch" I whisper to myself. I hide my face and smile to myself. "I must remember it from some place"
"Maybe you remember it because it was your song"
"Possibly" I know the true reason, last night. "Again tonight I'll be going out"
"Alright, same as last night" Riker says "your worth it"
"So I'm told" I say smiling "Ross always told me that"
"I bet he did" he says smiling at me. There is a knock on the door and Laura gets it.
"Raini!" Laura says half excited and half scared. I run to the door and Raini's face is all pink.
"Raini? You okay?" She shakes her head no "What's wrong?"
"I was driving by Dolphin's Beach when I saw, I think I saw, Ross standing by the road"
"What?!"
"I was to busy watching him so I almost got into an accident"
"You alright?"
"I am now that I told you"
"I was going to tell you that I was on the beach when I heard a guitar playing our song"
"Seriously?"
"Yeah but no one was around to be playing" I say.
"That's something"
"Because he was playing it"
"How can we still see him if he's dead?"
"No clue Raini" Laura and I say together.
"This is absolutely crazy, I'm out of here" Raini says.
"Where are you going?"
"Home. Away from you two crazy people."
"Raini?" I say following her to her car "Raini wait" I say but she ignores me by getting in her car and leaving. Just then Calum  pulls up with a shocked look on his face. He gets out "Calum?" I ask.
"Courtney?... I... Just ... Saw... Your... Boyfriend... Walking... Along... Your... Beach... Then I backed up and he wasn't there"
"Seriously?"
"Yeah" he says looking at me. "Is that why Raini pulled away?"
"Yeah she couldn't handle it."
"Oh alright"
"Can you?"
"Handle it?"
"Yes"
"Of course. I get to see my best friend" he walks over to me and gives me a huge bear hug. My favorite hug from a guy.
"I know I get to see my boyfriend"'I say "And, the father of my child"
"Your pregnant?"
"Yeah" he picks me up and spins me.
"Did Ross know?"
"No" I say. He stops spinning me. "I found out the morning of the accident" I starts crying "I didn't get a chance to"
"Too bad"
"Yeah" I say drying my tears. "Let's go to Laura"
"Yeah" I take his hand and drag him to the house with me. Laura is still standing there in shock.
"Laur?" I say. She falls forward into my arms. "Laur?!" I catch her, her eyes clos as she falls "Calum help. I can't pick her up ad takes her to the living room and lays he on the couch, next to Riker.
"She okay"
"Oh-um she just fainted. Nothing to harsh"
"Alright" he goes back to watching the hockey game. I sit down next to Laura and hug her to me.
"Court?" She whispers
"Hmm?"
"Can you take me tonight?"
"Tomorrow night" I whisper to her.
"Okay" she puts her head on my chest and falls fast asleep.
LATER THAT DAY
"Headed out" I call at the front door.
"Okay" Laura says watching the t.v, Austin and Ally. I smile she is watching the last two episodes of the series. I go to Ross's car and drive where I drove too yesterday. I walk to the same place I walked to yesterday. I did everything I did yesterday. I'm watching the waves when I hear his guitar. The guitar gets closer and closer, until it is righty behind me.
"Ross?"
"Courtney" I hear, the wind picks up making my hair fly everywhere.
"How can I help you?" I say from yesterday.
"Help me?"
"How?"
"You have to help me" I see a see through hand on my arm. I look up to the face the person the arm is connected to. I look into his puppy dog brown eyes "you have to help me"
"How?"
"I'm lonely" he says "come to my"
"I'm here baby"
"I mean join me"
"What?" I say "no"
"Why not?"
"I want your child to be born you goof."
"Court. I'm so sorry"
"I wish I could hug you."
"Me too baby"
"And you have nothing to apologize for"
"Yes I do"
"For what?"
"For leaving you"
"Ross Shor Lynch. You have done and given me everything. You've never left" I say "and your not leaving me alone."
"Yes I am"
"Does this look like you leaving me alone does it?"
He smiles "no" he smiles wider "I guess I'm not"
"None our not" I say giggling
"I could leave you alo-"
"Don't you dare" I day. He smiles his crooked smile, the one I love. "I wish I could touch you"
"Me too babygirl. I really want to kiss you, but I can't"
"I know" I say. "Do you have to leave?" I ask noticing him no longer looking fascinated by our conversation.
"No" he lies
"Ross!"
"Okay yes. Tomorrow?"
"It's alright if I bring Laur?"
"Laur wants to come?"
"Yeah... We wait your not surprised by calling he Laur, why?"
He smiles "I have ways around"
"You spied on me?" I say wide eyed. "How much?"
"All the time."
"Are you actually there or-"
"I told you inhale my ways around" he says "I'm stuck here on the beach"
"Oh" I say.
"I can only when what I'm attached to leaves"
"Me?"
"The baby"
"The baby?"
"I needed to be with you someway"
"But you can't show yourself anywhere but here?"
"Yeah. I'm stronger here at the beach"
"Oh"
"Cool huh?"
"It is" I say.
"I have to go" he says "I love you"
"I love you" then he disappears. I smile and get up and head to Ross's car and drive home. I'm still smiling as I pull into the drive and walk inside.
"Your smiley" Stormie notices
"I know" I say
"Going upstairs?"
Rydel asks.
"No"
"What's wrong with her?" Ryland asks pointing at me walking into the kitchen.
"No clue"
"Nothing wrong" I say "I'm going to watch a movie"
"Okay" I go sit on the couch and turn on Teen Beach Movie. I start singing" are you okay? You're actually singing to Teen Beach Movie"
"So?" I say "can't people change?"
"Of course they can"
"Ry stop worrying. I'm fine" Laura sits next to me,
"You saw him didn't you?"
"Yeah. You can come tomorrow. He wants to see you"
"Really? She says really loud.
"Shhh!!! Yes he does"
"Thank you" she says hugging me.
"Your welcome Laur" the movie ends and I go into the kitchen and grab an apple and eat it slowly. The next thing I know I'm running upstairs to the bathroom to throw up. "Ugh" I groan to myself, morning sickness.
