"Court you alright?" Laura asks me coming in to take my hair and hold it for me. I pull away from the seat,
"Yeah, just morning sickness"
"You need anything?"
"No I'm good" I say "I just need to brush my teeth."
"You sure"
"Laur I'm fine"
"How many months again?"
"Almost three months"
"Alright" she says still worried.
"Stop worrying. I'm fine"
"I can't worry about my best friend?"
"Of course you can" j say "let me brush my teeth then I'll hug you" I get up and brush my teeth. I turn around and Laura is right behind me, I wrap my arms around her. She puts her arms around my waist. "Laur I'm glad to call you friend"
"Me too Court" she says in a low voice. "Sister?"
"Sisters" I say. "Forever" I feel arms wrap around us. "Calum?"
"Yeah?"
"You're pretty cool too"
"Thank you" he says. "I heard you row talking. I had to come and join."
"Your absolutely fine" Laura says. We just stand in the bathroom hugging each other.
"You three alright?" Savannah asks. We pull away rom our hug.
"Yeah we're fine" Calum says.
"You sure?"
"Of course we are" I say.
"Alright"
"Savannah?"
"Yeah?"
"In sorry if it seems like I don't like you. You're an amazing person"
"Thank you Courtney" she says. I walk to her and give her a hug. She starts crying into my hair.
"I'm so sorry"
"For what?"
"Making you feel like I don't like you"
"You lost your fiancé I understand"
"I mean before the accident"
"Oh."
"I just want to let you know that you're one of my closest friends"
"Thank you"
"Your welcome" I unhug her and wrap my arm around her neck and wrap my other arm around Laura's neck. "My two best friends and Raini girl wise and you Calum are my only guy best friend. The boys are my brothers and Rudel is my sister"
"Of course" Laura says.
"What about Raini with her fleeing?" Savannah asks.
"Well if she stopped being my fiends she did, but I never stopped being hers."
"Let's hope she gives in"
"Hope" is all I repeat "let's go downstairs."
"Yeah" we go downstairs and all sit on the couch and watch the first thing that we all agree on to watch. Riker is standing in the doorway if the living room, watching us girls. The two other girls notice him, but turn back to the tv I stare at Riker who is watching is in awe. He looks me in the eyes and mouths to me,
"Thank you"
I mouth back "your welcome" back at him.
"Courtney can we talk a minute m!" He asks outloud.
"Of course" I get up and walk into the hallway.
"Thank you for making Savannah feel like she belongs here" he says leaning against the wall.
"Your welcome" I say leaning against the wall across from him. "That all you needed?" He smiles,
"No" the next moment happens so fast. He's across from me the next thing I know he is across the hall in front of me. He pulls my lips to his and it felt like I was kissing Ross, then realized it wasn't. I pushed him away.
"What the hell!"I say at him.
"Yeah what the hell!" Savannah says standing in the living room doorway.
"I'm sorry" Riker says to Savannah "But not sorry"
"Riker!" Savannah screams in tears "WE ARE OVER!" I just stand there like a foul in shock "And you I shouldn't have trusted you"
"Savannah. I would never"
"Than why?"
"He kisses me"
"You kissed back"
"To be honest it felt like I was kissing Ross, but rougher. But I pushed away because it wasn't Ross"
"Right. Like I can trust you"
"You can I'm your best friend."
"You might be mine, but in not yours."
"Whatever!" I call as she walks out the front door. "Go get her!" I yell at Riker
"No"
"Why not?"
"I want you"
"Well your not getting me. I'm Ross's"
"Ross is dead"
"So?"
"He can't protect you anymore"
"You font know that. I'm going to bed its 1:10 in the morning"
"You know you want me"
"I'm Ross's and no one else's" I call down in a warning tone. I get to my room and lock the door behind me and fall to the floor. I cry, cry, cry, and cry I do nothing but cry. I open my eyes seeing a sharp shiny pair of scissors on the desk. I get up and grab them and plunge them in my stomach.
